Great hotel to explore marthas Vineyard.

Posted Oct 10, 2013
Pros: Location. Unique hotel. Friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Oak Bluffs is the best town on the Vineyard. Excellent bars, restaurants and shops in a great setting.
We had a great time at the Pequot. The hotel has a unique feel, and is well located in Oak Bluffs which was our favourite town on the Vineyard. If you are looking for chain style similarity then this is not the place for you. However if you like something with its own style then the Pequot will not disappoint. The staff were excellent and helpful, and made this a great stay. We will be back.

Type of Innwe were looking for

Posted Sep 26, 2013
Pros: The room, sitings areas, ease to get to from the ferry, helpful attitude by the staff.
Cons: The only thing we would have liked is a view of the water but I don't think moving the Inn a block or so is in the cards. LOL
Location: The location was an easy walk to most everything including the downtown area. Anything we wanted to do was within 10 minutes.
We only stayed one night but were greeted warmly and enjoyed our short time there. The staff was very accomodating and our room was very nice. Breakfast had a nice variety and was quite good. I'm sure if we had some special needs or requests they would have been taken care of if at all possible.

Location: Beach down the street. Ferry and town 5 minute walk. Great location
We walked 5 minutes to the inn. The people working the desk were warm an friendly. Answered all questions we had. The breakfast was included. Continental style but very good home made muffins fresh juice. Etc. bed was comfy snacks were a nice touch. Weather was hot and humid. Thank goodness for air conditioning. Had a great time can't wait to go back

Old charm is not always a good thing.

Pros: Walking distance to many things in Oak Bluffs.
Cons: Small, uncomfortable, essentially motel room with a window air conditioner that just made noise rather than cool the air. Too costly for what it is.
Location: Good central location in Oak Bluffs.
Everything about this hotel is old and tired. The rooms are small with uncomfortable beds, pillows that should have been thrown out 5 years ago and sheets that are threadbare. There is no phone in the room and there was not even a closet or a hook to hang anything up. The hotel is in a good location in Oak Bluff. The continental breakfast had stale muffins and bread on it and cheap canned orange juice. I passed on the breakfast and gladly went out to eat.

160 USD for 1 night with 2 adults and 2 kids.

They provided an extra twin inflatable bed for my kid but we had to somehow squeeze it into this tiny tiny room(one queen) . Just ok experience to stay in an island for one night.

Very quiet and cozy hotel, with good continental breakfast and delicious afternoon tea. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Oak Bluffs in Martha's Vineyards.

Great Weekend Get-Away

Posted Oct 9, 2012
Pros: Afternoon cookies & gingerbread
Cons: Shelf space in the bathroom
Location: Could not have been more perfect: quiet at all times yet very close to downtown.
The bathroom was as small as it could be, making it difficult even to take a shower. There could have been more shelf space and hooks in the bathroom, and it would have made it easier to live there for three days. This is nit-picking, however, because the hotel was superbly run and very comfortable in every other respect.
