DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Oak Ridge - Knoxville

Great hotel. This is a drive from the highway. Good value hotel with comfort a priority.

This was a great hotel for me as a business traveler. It was a good environment for me to work in. My only small complaint is that the sound carries from the hallway and I was near the back door so when people went to talk on their phone or the like at the end of the hall it sounded like they were in my room.

Check in great. Cookie awesome. Room service excellent. Pool perfect. All good!

This hotel is an extremely great value. Both the rate and the cost of room service and dining in the hotel restaurant. During the week it is almost all business and government travelers. That means the hotel is very quiet during the week. On the weekend it was evident that less experienced travelers roam about slamming doors in the evening and early morning hours. The greatest opportunity for improvement would be closer attention to daily housekeeping. I stayed for 5 nights and had two rooms. Almost daily the housekeeping would try to clean on their schedule not mine. Sometimes I would return at 5pm and room still not clean. In addition they did not consistently clean the room. They would forget various tasks such as replacing towels, wiping counters, removing dirty washclothes and towels. If they could perform these tasks at a higher level I would have given them a 5 and they could really be proud of the service they provide.

We were attending sn event at the university and even though the trip was a little drive we never noticed because of the scenery.

The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. The walls were a little dinged up in the rooms and could use a fresh coat of paint or something, and there aren't outlets by the bed to plug in the phone and fan I always take with me. The bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed our 12 hours there.

The room was more than we expected - very clean, modern updated decor, and spacious. We were visiting the area to attend the Southeastern Regionals Regatta and found the hotel location to be excellent to the venue. Although the weather was terrible (rain-rain-rain), we were comfortable hanging out in our room in between heats as we had ample room to spreadout & get some work done on our laptops. Although there were several row crews staying in the hotel and a high school prom being held one night, there was no undue noise, lack of staff attention, or chaos. Breakfast buffet in the hotel was pleasant, and although most of the food items could have been hotter, the choices were perfect and the wait staff was prompt & courteous. We will book this hotel for our next stay in the area.

Hotel is very loud, Lobby and pool areas were not kept clean.

Had a king room with fridge. Large room, large bathroom, large desk, large chest of drawers. Bed and pillows very comfortable. No bed bugs. Heat worked very well. Friendly staff. Nice lobby. Looks like they rent out the pool to parties. Saw one area of wallpaper in hallway that was peeling, but inside of room was in nice condition. Disappointed that there was not a gym inside hotel, but didn't have time to use anyway. Free use of the gym across the street came free with room rate. This was a steal at the low rate I got.

I had stayed at another Doubletree in a different city and had the WORST expereince EVER... That was the first time I ever stayed at a Doubletree... So I was leery of staying at another one.. But I was bringing my dog this time around and my best friend had stayed at this one before and said it was really nice etc. so I gave it a shot... It was one of the best places I have ever stayed... They even gave dog treats to our dogs... They were very accommodating... So different than the OTHER one... I would recommend this hotel to anyone.. Oh and the hambugers at the restaurant there in the hotel is well worth the money you pay for it... To die for....beds were comfy and my dog slept on the very soft pillows NOT the bed I had brought along for her to sleep in...:)... Bathroom was very clean and room was very clean as well...
