"Excellent location on the pedestrianised New Walk leading into the City Centre (15 mins) and just a 5 minute walk from the station. Superb, comfortable, ensuite room. Friendly, helpful staff. Would not hesitate to book again on any subsequent visit to the area. Thank you!"

"Lots of parking close to reception. Check in was efficient. The bedroom was large, clean and well equipped, with two double beds. The bathroom had plenty of room too. Access to the leisure centre was included. Large pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. All were a decent size. Lots of choice for breakfast with helpful staff. All in all, a very enjoyable stay. "

"My friend and I had a lovely stay here last night. We arrived in the afternoon and were warmly welcomed by Karen. We were really well looked after by Karen and her team and nothing was too much trouble. Our twin room was lovely and the beds really comfortable with lovely touches in the bathroom in case we had forgotten anything. Our food in the restaurant was delicious … the best steak I have had in a while and my friend said her burger was amazing. A real gem of a place at Rutland and we will definitely be back! So lovely to find somewhere with great food, comfortable rooms and amazing customer service. Thank you Karen and your team!"

"Lovely stay in an excellently located hotel by Rutland Water. Watched sunset over the lake from the conservatory restaurant. Excellent food and service. Comfortable room and lovely garden leading down to the waterfront foot/cycle path. Cycle hire 10 minutes walk away. Great place to get away from it all in a beautiful rural setting "

"The apartment was very clean, well maintained and comfortable. It was well equipped and warm. Grounds are beautifully kept. Stunning views across Rutland water. "

"Located inside gated university grounds. Parking ample and secure. Check in was easy and friendly staff. Room was spacious and clean. Little signs of aging like damaged bathroom door and marks on ceiling. Bed and bedding comfy. Room a little warm although there was a fan you can use. It was quiet. We used the leisure facilities and these were great. "
