“Never visit again!”

Too dirty, and it smells .... I'll never stay this hotel again.

“Will Return”

We've stayed at the Beau Sky Hotel before and plan to return again. While not a luxury hotel, the rooms are clean, comfortble, and very close to the UC Berkeley campus. Parking is conveniently located next door for a small fee. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is walking distance to the campus and many eating and shopping establishments. They also have a great Indian restaurant in the front of the hotel. Hotel guests get a discount at this restaurant.

Area recommendations
The area near UC Berkeley is extremely convenient (walking distance) to many shops and restaurants, along with the many activities relating to the campus.
Getting around
Berkeley is very pedestrian friendly. Walking and public transportation will get you anywhere you want to go. I would not reccommend walking very late at night though.
Dining
Wide variety of eating establishments with a wide range of prices. Prices are very reasonable close to Cal.

“Hotel cute, but not room.”

Unclean, shady and moldy. But apparently, for what I paid for, this is what I get.

“Highly recommend for an affordable price”

This hotel isn't exactly like a hotel. It's more like a motel. The room is okay, but the complimentary breakfast: donuts and coffee, is awesome. Very affordable price for a hotel just 2 minutes walk away from UC Berkeley campus. The other hotels on Durant Ave and Bancroft are way more expensive. So, if you have a tight budget, then this should be the place.
