Hotel

Cons: website, ground floor accommodations.
The hosts of the Inn tried their very best to meet my needs. Unfortunately, they were not able to, so I chose to move on. I appreciated their attention and willingness to answer all of my many questions. And especially their willingness to refund expenses for the brief time I stayed. So, thanks for your help.

good value for money

Posted Mar 23, 2014
Pros: Value for money
Cons: It could be fancier, but for the price it's fine.
Location: Berkeley Inn is conveniently located in Berkeley, about 10 minutes from the BART station.
Berkeley Inn is basic but comfortable. There are TVs, refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms and everything is in good condition. It's not luxurious but the rooms are fine if you are looking for a reasonably priced motel. The managers are helpful and friendly.

Terrible hotel

Terrible hotel, you shouldn't recommend it. No clock or clock radio, small metal shower stall, no water pressure, bathroom fan makes a racket, no elevator had to walk up three flights.

Cheap but unfriendly staff and noisy at night

Posted Jan 20, 2014
Cons: Remove this hotel from your list.
Not friend staff, not enough parking space, smoking stains at the wall and bed, additional door lock was broken, noisy whole night.

No elevator. No bath. Only shower. Congested bathroom. Small sink. Room stinks. Bed itches. It was so terrible that I am thinking of not booking hotel from hotels.com

Although it was a non-smoking room, it smelled heavy smoke all over the room...

Gave away our room

Posted Dec 22, 2013
Pros: There is nothing to like about this hotel. It is awful.
Cons: Giving people the rooms they book, cleanliness, bed comfort.
Location: There is a good latin coffee shop a block away (no coffee maker in room).
We reserved a specific type of room via Expedia, but when we arrived they told us that they had given away our room type and could only put us in a room that was lesser quality and did not meet what we reserved. I could have accepted an upgrade, but not a lower quality room than what I booked. The beds were also terrible. I could barely get to sleep on it.
