Convenient to UCB

Posted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: Comfortable beds
Cons: Noise damping on the upstairs floors. Could hear every step of our heavy foot neighbors.
Location: UCB Memorial Stadium and Campus 5 -8 minutes. Nations Hamburgers 1 minute
We were there for a weekend UCB football camp and need somewhere close and reasonable which the Travelodge fits. The first night was as little rough, because of my upstairs neighbors would not go to sleep and the walking and loud music kept me up for two hours. Complained to the front desk and they did speak to the guest who eventually went to sleep. I asked to move for my second night and was moved into the first available room before 9:30a.m. Second night slept well with no issues. Beds were comfortable, and rooms were clean. It's not five star, but you get what you pay for and they met our expectations. Nations HB is next door with good food and breakfast all day. Don't go there if your are in a hurry, but the food is good. Will stay at Travelodge Berkley again if in the are and need to be close to UCB for a short stay.

I cancelled the last night within 24 hours before leaving, but was charged for all nights. The personell was untrained, and I got no receipt for the expenses. Way too much money for the stay.

Pros: Location was just right.
The room was clean with a convenience of a ice machine. And no smoking in the room which was so great.

Close to Downtown Berkeley

Posted Jun 11, 2015
Pros: Easy WiFi access. Nice Cable television but no premium channels. They have safes. Set back from University Avenue. Nice locking windows.
Cons: The carpet was very old and dirty. Did not want to walk on it in bare feet. Love the tiled shower but grout needs attention. Noise until midnight.
Location: Many wonderful restaraunts with food choices from around the globel. The culture of Berkeley is unmatched throughout this area. Amazing discoveries.
Medium wlak from Downtown Berkeley BART. Room rate was lower than the other motels on University, only slightly higher then even YMCA. In process of renovation. Nice minimal continental breakfast.

Very nice, convenient location in downtown Berkeley. What sucked was they were renovating and construction next door was very loud couldn't sleep in. Other than that great hotel.

Pros: 部屋の広さと電子レンジがある。
ホテルの場所は良いのですが、現地の物価上昇と円安効果のおかげで、昔より2倍高いです。 建物は老朽化していますし、壁が薄いです。 ホテルではなく、モーテルですね。
