My family has stayed at this hotel twice now. The staff was very friendly, the hotel was clean, and the rooms were comfortable. Will go there again if we travel to Castro Valley again.

“Fine hotel, a little hard to get to”

The Comfort Inns and Comfort Suites never disappoint, and this place is no exception. The room was comfortable and quiet and the staff was courteous. Even with a GPS gadget, I had to be ready to make a quick, blind turn into the lot and parking, altho adequate, is cramped. Getting to it coming west on Castro Valley Blvd requires a U-turn in the middle of the next block. I would stay there again next time I visit in that area.

Stayed at Castro Valley Comfort Suites from July 24 - Aug 1, 2009. I would rate the hotel very clean and a very good stay for the money. The rooms are big and clean. Breakfast is quite good (with hot selections like egg omlettes and bacon--along with waffles and other pastries). Much better than traditional continental fare. Workout room is small, but pretty well equipped. Steam room, whirlpool and sauna are nice--but no pool. Wi-fi compatible. The evening warm cookies are also a real treat. We will definitely stay here again.

“Impressed”

We arrived late in the evening and were thrilled to have a very clean room with a comfortable bed. The staff was accomodating and the breakfast was quite ample. It was a great start to our vacation.
