“Nice Nice”

The hotel was very nice no complaints. Friendly staff and very clean rooms. I would recomment this hotel to everyone. Convenient location to Oakland, SF, and San Jose.

“Disappointed”

The carpet in the hotel room had a dirty look and feel. In our reservation which we had made well in advance, we had indicated that we had three persons staying in the room. The hotel seemed to be short of towels. When we checked in, we expected three sets of towels be placed in the room, but we had to ask before the appropriate number of towels was delivered by a grumpy looking staff. Moreover, the coffee was not replenished by housekeeping. Worse, in the room we stayed on the ground floor, the bathroom drain was clogged up and we had to move to another room. The only bright side of our stay was the helpfulness of the front desk staff. All in all, I never expected such quality from a Crowne Plaza hotel.

“If they would get late night shuttle would consider staying here again”

Shuttle back and forth from airport stops picking up at 7:00pm. Would not go back to this hotel until transportation for late night arrival is secured.

“Wouldn't mind going back, only with a special promo deal.”

The ladies who were working the breakfast buffet were rushing everyone while complaining to some customers that we all had to leave by 9:00am when on the hotel flyer it stated the breakfast bar closes at 10:00am. The buffet staff was rude n they should take classes on customer service.

“An exceptional value”

We, three couples in all, spent the weekend in the Bay Area to enjoy a Giants vs. DBacks series. We selected this hotel because it was an exceptional value compared to other hotels of comparable quality (based on star rating and guest reviews). We were not disappointed. In fact, we were so impressed with the pool area, we cancelled our Saturday late-morning/afternoon plans and relaxed at the pool until it was time to head off to the game. Hotel staff was helpful and pleasant. Front desk provided dead-on directions to the nearest BART station. Would definitely stay there again.

Shopping

The hotel has exceptional shopping, dining & entertainment right on the other side of the freeway (accessible either by car or via a nice walking trail behind the hotel).
