Others have given this hotel less than sparkling reviews; we found it to be very clean, well upkept and the area of town much better than advertised. the proximity to the A's field saved us $50 in parking fees so take that into account. The staff was very pleasant and the hotel was very quiet and comfortable. tx !

“Great hotel, would stay again!”

At check-in we were greeted very enthusiastically. The cashier was very kind and very quickly checked us in. We had no problem with anything and I would definitely stay here again. The only concern I had was with the surrounding neighborhood. If you're driving, you should be fine, but if not, I wouldn't completely ignore this hotel, but I'd recommend being cautious if walking around at night.

“Best Buy for the Price”

We were most impressed with the gentleman who checked us into our room. He was very professional and provided excellent service when we asked about BART transportation. We found the location of the hotel to be most convenient and because the hotel offered free shuttle service to BART we felt we got even more for our dollar. The hotel even picked us up from BART upon our return from the City. Although small, the fitness room was a plus to have at this property. And continental breakfast was also another plus for this property! Thank you Expedia for assisting us with this booking!

“Great overnighter spot”

Came to oakland for Raider game, and this was a great place to stay for that purpose. Room was standard, a place to sleep and shower. Also, for the game, it's just down the street, so if you feel like walking there, that's a plus as well. Overall, if you just need a place to shower and crash, this is it!

“Park and Fly was great.”

We were driven to the oakland airport by a courteous driver. We were seven hours late arriving, so the shuttle was no longer operating, but the hotel sent out a van after 2;00am and picked 8 of us up, even though we were not staying the night. Driver agin courteous and helpful.

“Enjoyed it again. Second time this year!”

In March, 2009, my brother and I stayed at this property on our way to Reno to ski and enjoyed the property for its convenience, comfort and amenities. In June of the same year, my husband and I stayed here again on our way to Reno and Carson City and he also thought it was a great property especially because of the convenience (shuttle service, near the airport and BART station, restaurant on premises that stays open until 11:00 p.m. for late arrivals) cleanliness and great staff. The price is right-I can't ask for anything more. We'll definitely stay there again.

“Great Value”

The rooms were newly remodeled, clean and fine. They aren't gigantic spacious rooms, but they worked for what I needed: an inexpensive place to sleep that's clean and quiet. If I ever do another weekend in Oakland I'll definitely stay there again.
