“Not the Greatest beds”

The staff was wonderful; very pleasant and helpful. My only complaint is in Marriott hotels as a general I have a bad back and the beds are not a great fit for me. They are very hard and not pleasant at all to sleep on.

“We were very satisfied!”

It was the second stop on our vacation and it was refreshing to have such a nice environment after having a bad hotel experience at our previous stop. The hotel was clean, fresh, good service, had all the extras, and a great complimentary breakfast.

“Great value hotel near San Francisco”

The alternative to staying in downtown San Francisco or Oakland avoiding the crowds is to stay in Hayward at the Fairmont Inn. This hotel is very up to date and includes free parking, free wireless internet and a nice continental breakfast with make your own waffles. We were visiting family in Berkeley and the drive from this hotel to the apartment in Berkeley was about 15 miles which wasn't a bad drive from this hotel.

“Good.”

Nice clean hotel. Had everything I needed in good working condition. Breakfast was great. Appreciated the sauna and small fitness center. The staff was a bit stale and weird. Not that the service was bad, it just was very average.

“Fair for the price”

We booked a none smoking room. The hotel was not full and we were given a newly remodeled room that reeked of smoke. I went back to the desk and they moved us. The next morning, when we went to shower, the newly remodeld room had not hot water in the shower. Oh well. When we checked out, they made no attempt to even compensate.

“Never again!”

We will never stay at this hotel again. We were treated very poorly and not allowed full use of the hotel's facility.
