Great hotel, great location. great pricePosted Dec 1, 2014
Nice hotel. Our room was very spacious and clean (even to my wife's standards!). The free breakfast buffet in the mornings was a nice surprise. We stayed for a week and never had breakfast anywhere else. Location was great. Minutes from the bay bridge and very close to lots of shopping. The movie theater was only about two blocks away in the middle of the shopping center. Target, home depot, and best buy were less than a mile away. We took the train from Colorado so having the train depot right behind the hotel worked out great. The noise of the trains was never an issue since Emeryville is the end of the line you don't have trains screaming by. I would stay here again. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

Clean, comfortable modern hotelPosted Nov 30, 2014
Pros: clean and modern and new. The free breakfast was fine: eggs, ham, potatoes, fruit, yogurt, pancakes, coffee, juices, cereals. Families liked it.
Location: across from the train station and, yes, the trains make a tiny bit of noise but it was no problem for me.
This is a modern, clean, comfortable hotel. We had the mini suite: bedroom, bathroom and a 20 foot by 30 foot "great room" with a small modern kitchen and sofa and desk. It would be a perfectly comfortable place to spend a couple of weeks.

Easy to find and very comfortable.Posted Nov 27, 2014
Pros: Clean and comfortable
Cons: Will be nice when the restaurant is done.
Location: Near a lot of shopping and eateries of all types. Easy to get on and off the freeway.
This hotel was easy to locate but under some renovation. Staff was friendly and very helpful in finding a place for dinner as the hotel restaurant was under renovation and closed.

MediocrePosted Nov 7, 2014
Pros: breakfast, wifi and free parking
Cons: the internal decoration and a shuttle service to the city or to the BART
Location: there is shopping area and that's all.
We could not find a reasonable accommodation in San Francisco therefore we decided to stay on the other side of the bridge and we chose the Hyatt. The outside of the hotel is not very appealing: it is a cement building almost soviet style, with no architecture really. It is pretty far from the shore and has a partial view of the bay and the city. Inside is pretty tired (old carpet, old wallpaper) and the common areas (lobby and dining area) are poor. We got a room at the fourth floor that was ok (I am sure on the upper floors they are better); bathroom ok; some rooms have a little terrace that should be enjoyable. Breakfast is good and served by nice personnel. Wifi works very well. They are renovating, but the ugly outside won't go away….
