“Great hotel for catching an early flight in OAK”

This hotel was above my expecdtations. If you need to stay in a hotel close to OAK airport, you can't go wrong with this one.

“Best Oakland/Alameda Airport hotel”

What a great place to stay. I was there for 4 days on business. Can't beat this place in every category! PROS: Cleanliness, friendly hotel staff. Free internet, free shuttle pickup. They’ll drop you off and pick you up from not only the airport, (no charge) but take you to local restaurants and the ferry to San Fran. Essentially a free taxi service for any destination within 3 miles of the hotel. Hot breakfast every morning, (Not the best but what do you want for free?) Safe neighborhood right on the water (Bay) with a jogging path along the bay the goes for miles. Planes fly right over the water next to the hotel but they even doubled up the windows on every room to minimize the sound. The exercise room has a TV at every tread-mill, with free weights and a great universal exerciser. It even has a heated outdoor pool and hot tub but it’s only open till 10 PM. I will be staying here on future trips to the Oakland/Alameda area and so will the other people that will come here from my company. CONS: None

Area recommendations

(Advice): Take the ferry ($13 round trip) located a few miles from the hotel to Pier 39 or the Ferry building. It’s a 20 minute ferry ride (can be almost 2 hours by car) that passes close to Alcatraz, under the Bay Bridge and ends up at the heart of San Fran.

Only downside was that it was out in the middle of an industrial park, with no services nearby.

“Relax near Oakland Airport”

View of SF is only a short stroll away. Watch the airplanes land from well-designed and decorated and fully-equipped breakfast lounge area. Helpful staff with restaurants. Very friendly.

“Pretty nice place”

Great hotel. Only one complaint - the in room office chair was horrible, dumped me on the floor :) Also nothing in the surrounding area for quality food.

“Quiet and Comfortable”

The room was comfortable. The hotel was quiet, clean and welcoming. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The location of the hotel was a bit awkward in that it was in the middle of a business park and there were not any restaurants nearby. There was no roomservice and we had arrived late and the kids were hungry. After driving four hours to get there we had to load back up to go find food. The breakfast they served was great. A wide variety of food and served nice and early so we could get to where we needed to go. They even helped me find the nearest starbucks!

We ate at a local mexican restaurant that was awesome. Great margaritas. The chimichungas, chili rellenos, burritos, etc....I have three boys and they just kept eating, and eating...... Couldn't have picked a better place.

“Will use this hotel every time we go to San Francisco area.”

Two year old building. Near Oakland airport, but the windows are soundproof. Easy shuttle to Oakland Airport and passenger ferry to San Francisco . (Weekdays only.) Good free breakfast. What's not to like?

“Great stay for Oakland Airport”

We arrived late at night and the woman at the front desk was extremely helpful and very friendly. She responded immediately when I went downstairs later on to print my boarding pass and the ink cartridge in the printer was low. The hotel was clean, very close to the airport and very comfortable. Breakfast was good and well staffed. An excellent choice for our pre-departure stay out of Oakland.
