a bit worn

Posted Apr 16, 2015
Cons: see above
The rooms need some refreshing. There is a faint musty smell and things just look a bit worn. For the rooms that face west, there is little sound insulation, so you get the droning sound of the freeway nearby.

Fantastic view.

Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: View from rooms. Spacious. Pleasant lobby.
Cons: The staff aren't the brightest and best you'll ever see.
This place is very convenient to the bridge, and has a surprisingly lovely trail to walk along the shore. Also, if you're there on the weekend, it's worth the 25 minute walk to an excellent dim sum restaurant at the end of the point. I was, however, disappointed that they charge for parking at the hotel. Come on.

$15.00 parking too much for where it's at. Noisy by the freeway. Ok stay for one night.

Impressed with the quality of the room, friendliness of the staff, ease of access to freeways, bike trails, n grocery stores. Bay view room provides beautiful day & night view of the SF/Oakland bay bridge area.

Convenient location next to Bay Bridge

Posted Apr 4, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Insure items that guest handle or touch are clean without any obvious disgusting residue.
Location: It is close to Amtrak, Lake Merit, Jack London Square and next to the Bay Bridge with easy access to S.F. or Tiburon area, Marin County.
Nice hotel with nice 10th floor Bay view of San Francisco and nice staff. Remarkably noisy location with freeway and local noise (free earplugs come with the room) and may be some construction going on? I had an "accessible" room with accessible bath that had no place for razor, place for soap or shampoo in the shower space and a tiny space (without vanity) for shaving/hygiene supplies where things easily could fall of onto floor like my toothbrush! The handle of the blow dryer and the key pad on the phone were ripe with (crusty) residue that looked unsanitary. The toilet apparently leaked since the tank filled routinely. My most (unusual) disappointing stay at a Hilton property to date.

It was loud and they had ear plugs by the bed..

Posted Apr 1, 2015
Pros: Resturant was good and a decent value.
Cons: Dual sound windows for freeway facing rooms!
At this price point I should not have to use ear plugs to try and sleep... Single pane windows equal freeway noise. They say sounds of the bay.. no sounds of traffic 24/7
