Reasonable choice in Emeryville

This was our second time staying here, mostly because of its location close to Berkeley, and the SF Bridge. It is well-appointed, and the rooms fine. But the lack of a free breakfast is a major negative when almost all similar hotels provide (there are no nearby food options other than the hotel restaurant.) in short, it's OK, but not a first choice in future.

Noisy hotel at a business district

The hotel is located right next to an 8 lane freeway, making it noisy day and night. As a matter and fact, a "complementary" pair of ear plugs is provided in the room. The noise would have been less if they had invested in some dual pane windows, but i guess providing ear plugs to guests are cheaper. I guess expedia had this on sale for a reason.

Pros: Simple
Cons: Clean room in timely manner - we were out the whole morning but when got back at 4 the room was not done yet.
Location: Closeby to food/shopping area
Put parents here for UC berkeley graduation and it was suitable for their needs.

Fine for a short stay

Pros: Convenient locale.
Cons: It would have been nice to know that parking is an extra $15 per day and not included in the hotel rate.
Location: Berkeley
This is a good experience for the money. The room is clean, the staff is friendly. There is some highway noise, but its acceptable.

Great service, horrible room

This has to be the worst airport hotel I've ever stayed in my life. I got nothing to complain about the service, but the room is absolutely horrible. I got a room in the lower level, and it smelled like someone died in there. The bathroom is very tiny; I can't find a place to put my cleanser and cosmetics. The bed is uncomfortable too. however, all th staff who helped me there were really nice.

Nice hotel close to BART

Hotel room was super clean although it was a bit small. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to provide a positive experience. Hotel is close to a BART station and there is a free shuttle that picks you up and drops you off at the BART. Hotel is also close to a large outdoor mall in Emeryville.

Very good and comfy rooms. Value per money on breakfast is not so good. The food in the bar is very good and they serve until 2200. I had not good experience with eh reception staff about a package i ordered.

No noise policy

Spent 3 night there for my anniversery. Pretty veiws, most of the staff very friendy. However we had two friends visiting us and we were just talking and laughing. They came to our door and asked us to quite down. Then two minute later call and said we were still to loud. They threaten to call police. Mind you that you can hear every elivater, door, toilet, and voice from every room near us. There is a two inch gap at the bottom of the door. I had to go to the lobby to talk to my guest. Didnt help the hotel staff changed his story 3 time by the time i asked to speak to a manager. They need something to inprove the noise coming under the door and threw the walls. they could have just offered us a place we could hang out and visit with our company. They handle the situation poorly. They manager could even appoligize for the way i was talked to by staff.
