“Would go back if ever going to Oakland or event at Oracle Arena”

Hotel room was very nice and big. Room had a mini kitchen, living room with pull-out sofa, comfy bed, nice size bathroom. Cab to arena was about $15. There was less traffic going our direction for the cab ride home, so it was easier and cheaper to get another cab. Hotel right on the bay, nice places near by.

“Very pleasant experience”

Neighborhood was nice for a couple of blocks either way before you hit unpleasant industrial type areas. So if you want a hotel where you can do long walking tours this is not the best, We had a rental car and found easy access to downtown Alameda, Oakland and the freeway system. Parking at the hotel is free. Excellent free shuttle provided only on weekdays. We were there a week for a family gathering and heard no negatives from anyone in our group. Decent free breakfasts and free dinner Mon-Thur. My daughter has a crawling infant and she said she was amazed by the cleanliness of the facility. Would definitely stay there again.

“Clean, Quiet, and the staff was great!”

Nice place to stay! We were in Oakland to attend my son's graduation from Berkeley. It was close enough to the campus, and the cost was right. Breakfast is a great addition. We'd stayed at the same chain in Seattle and found it to be consistent. The staff was always eager to help and always greeted you with a smile.

“Best Service you looking for”

I stayed 4 nights at this wonderful hotel and strongly recommend it for everyone who look for the best service you might think of. Here are few features of the hotel; wider rooms, kitchen equipped with neccessary tools, carpet almost new, clean bed sheets plus its location on facing the lake.

“The perfect suite room hotel for families”

There was a funk odor in hallways but otherwise was a perfect hotel for entire family. We won't go anywhere else. Go warriors!

“Great hotel for a relaxing visit with a nice view.”

Although I had a little trouble finding out how 3 adults could sleep in a room with a queen size bed, after 3 calls someone could finally tell me there was a hide-a-bed in the sitting room which makes into a bed. The view on the bay side is really beautiful and we had a balcony. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. When I left I accidentally left some keys in a drawer. I telephoned and went back several hours later and they had saved the keys and returned them to me. The complimentary breakfast was generous and tasty.

“Great little non-suite in the the suite hotel!”

The non-suite was small but comfortable, as we were hardly there. The breakfast in the morning was great!

“Great place to stay with a pet.”

Not in the middle of SF attractions, but close enough, as it's only a short hop to the Bay Bridge. Great if you're traveling with a pet, as pet friendly in SF are pricey. But, beware! The hotel's information is misleading (if not fraudulent) regarding the "Pet Deposit" it says is required. When you check in, you are told the deposit's NON-REFUNDABLE. That's not a deposit--that's a FEE! (It's $75 for a stay of 1 to 4 days.) I'd still have stayed there, but was annoyed that I felt "scammed" .Come on, be honest, say there's a fee.. Another downside--the doors are self-closing and slam shut with a horrific bang. It's disturbing, especially late at night and early in the morning. But the good: the queen water side suite is huge and has a nice view of the marina. The kitchenette is great, and the included breakfast is sufficient--scrambled eggs, link sausages, bagels, pastries, fruits, juices, cereals, and hard boiled eggs. Stay away from the city view side, however--it's on the freeway, and would be noisy due to the heavy traffic. Also, service was terrific. If I weren't traveling with my pet, though, I wouldn't stay here. I'd opt for a place in SF, but with a pet, this is the place to stay. In sum, good value, great view if on the water side, great room/kitchenette, good location, decent breakfast, good service. Just be aware of the pet FEE, and gird for the occasional slam of doors. All in all, I'd definitely stay here again if traveling with my pet.

“Great Family Place”

We had a mini reunion there. It was a great place for a getting together. The staff was very helpful. Location was great for a base camp. Close to many things.
