Hotel Shattuck Plaza

Sweet little gem of a place. Bright, feels brand new. Beaurtifully decorated. Doesn't look generic at all. If you want to take the BART to tourist locations, it's right across the street. Every staff member I interacted with was helpful and seemed happy to be there.

Beautiful boutique style hotel. Very convenient to everything. A quick ride over the Bay Bridge gets you to San Francisco in no time.

The hotel was very clean and the location was excellent. It is within a 2 minute walk of Downtown Berkeley BART station.

Great location in center of downtown Berkeley, BART stop right across the street was very convenient (20 min ride to SF), lots of cafe's, coffee shops and places to eat and drink within walking distance.

A beautiful hotel and convenient location in downtown Berkeley across the street from BART and close to UC Berkeley. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was fairly noisy. There was not hotel parking. I had to leave early one morning and had to walk 3 blocks to a garage you could exit early in the morning. Otherwise it is street parking. I could not find a place when I returned to my hotel after work.

The room features many modern upgrades, was very clean and comfortable. Conveniently located in the center if downtown Berkeley and within half a block to the BART. Last but not least, the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Convenient location with easy access to downtown San Francisco. The Berkeley campus is right across the street and plenty of restaurants, cafes, theaters and music venues are a stone's throw away. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was easy and comfortable. The hotel has just been remodeled and is gorgeous, comfy and clean. You will be happy with your stay!

Apart from wacky, shouting guys on the street (which I know we find in every urban area in the world), Hotel Shattuck Plaza was a pleasant surprise in my trip ro Northern California.
