“Perfect place to stay”

Management was very accomodating and, when I arrived, changed my room from upstairs to downstairs upon my request. Room wasn't large but perfectly adequate, and the bed was really comfy. The hotel is located on the water so the boats and beautiful sunsets were a real plus. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

“Quiet little place”

This hotel is located at a very nice and quiet neighbourhood with a nice view over the water front and Oakland. The room is not big but clean and comfortable. Free continental breakfast is good. Our 4-days stay was very enjoyable.

Great hotel and the price was a plus. We had a view of the Alameda harbor and lots of sailboats. The Yacht Club next door accomodates hotels guest.

“Best Kept Secret”

I travel a LOT! And this is a GREAT hotel! I'd stay here if I were going anywhere in the East Bay or S.F. I had to get to SFO and I was there in 30 minutes. The hotel is very quiet. Large in-room refrigerator. My coffeemaker was broken and housekeeping had a new one there before you could say Jackie Robinson. Breakfast was free and plentiful and a stack of S.F. Chronicles was provided for guests in the breakfast room. High speed internet (FREE!) was truly high speed....5 mgs p/sec. Overall....the best hotel I've stayed at for the money in a long time. There are more luxurious hotels with more amenties but be prepared to pay 5 times the priced of this hotel.

“Comfy beds!”

The hotel was beautiful! They where doing some construction in the lobby but the rest of the hotel made up for it. The rooms where great, comfy beds and unique style. The woman in the lobby was very friendly even though it was really late when we arrived and checked us in and got us to our rooms quickly. The only negative was it was kind of out of the way, it may just because i did not know the area very well but other than that it was awesome!

“good clean reasonable price place close to everything”

After living in Alameda off and on since 1965 while stationed at the old Naval Air Station it is always a pleasure to return and see the changes. I have stayed at this hotel on two other trips and I really enjoyed the area along the estuary. The hotel staff was pleasant and the breakfast was just right. They provided Hot Coffee, juice, milk, cereals both hot and cold, Bagels, sweet rolls so what more could you expect.

“Great place for quick business trip”

My office is walking distance, so this is where I'll be staying on all my business trips... Great service, perfect location.
