Bad customer service

Posted May 29, 2015
Bad service at this hotel. The rooms are overall ok but with the horrible front desk staff, it's better you stay elsewhere until they fix that.

Hotel is nice, but not some of the staff.

Posted May 28, 2015
Pros: The hotel and room were nice and clean. The only problem was the phone in the room, the Front Desk button, did not work. We did reported it.
Cons: Staff training in professionalism and/or helpfulness with its customers.
Our experience with the clerk at the front desk was less than pleasant. She had an unaccommodating demeanor. We were hit with additional charges that we were not made aware of when booking the room. Also the room we were in did not accommodate all the people in our party, when booking we were told it would. When we asked about these things her whole manner was unprofessional. She did not want to deal with us and said we should contact Expedia about it, "that they leave info out just to book a room". She didn't even try or attempt to see if there was anything that could be done. We paid the additional monies and one of the members in our party had to sleep on the floor with no additional blankets. We tried calling the front desk from the phone in the room, but it didn't work, so we had to walk back to the front desk to report it. We were told she would send someone to look into it, but no one ever came.

Nothing fancy

Posted Apr 30, 2015
Pros: The internet speed at this hotel is waaayyy faster than what I see at most hotels.
Cons: As I said , it was a little dated but that isn't what I was looking for anyway. I can overlook most thing for convenience.
The hotel is a little dated but is perfect for a person needing to catch an early morning flight. If you are looking for a 4 star hotel don't stay here. If you want a place to sleep and shower with an on time shuttle to the airport then this is your hotel.

Airport convenient

Posted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: Proximity to airport
Cons: More vending machines, more ice machines
I only was here to sleep on a trip from Kona to Pennsylvania. The bed was comfortable. I was disappointed that there were no ice machines in the "west" wing, or vending machines. I was traveling alone and did not like that I would have to go outside and across the parking lot to get a bottle of water late at night. Also it appeared that the housekeeping department left cleaning rags in the sink after cleaning the bathroom. The rates were reasonable, and since I was only looking to sleep here, the hotel served its purpose. The shuttle service to the airport was great. I did not utilize any other ameneties at the hotel.

Pleasant stay...

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: Great guest service.
Location: Tons of things nearby - very centrally located.
This is a nice hotel - clean, comfortable, reasonable price, great guest service and the chef at Bistro 150 makes yummy grub. :)

nice hotel close to Oakland airport

Posted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: convenience to Oakland airport for early flight next day
Cons: vending machines.....
room was nice - air conditioner was loud but since we don't have aircon at home I guess that's to be expected. had wanted to get a drink from the machine but on the 3rd floor it was out of order, so went to the 4th floor and what I wanted was out, went to 5th floor and it wouldn't take my $$, went to 2nd floor and it didn't work either. went to the front desk and they gave me a pitcher of icewater which was just fine....fix your machines.

Overnight stay close to O.co stadium

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: Close to O.co stadium and quiet.
Cons: Parking disclosed up front.
My son and I needed to stay in Oakland for an A's game. It was relatively close to the stadium and quiet. There was an $8/night parking fee that was not expressed in the quote.

Close to airport with shuttle

Posted Apr 1, 2015
Overall we had a great stay. Used the outdoor pool and also the fitness room which was small but adequate. Enjoyed a happy hour drink after our walk to In N Out Burger! Took the 5:20am shuttle to the airport so all and all a great deal!

Nice Hotel!

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Read a lot of negative things about this hotel so was expecting the worse. Hotel staff was friendly and professional. Room was nice and clean. I don't have a negative thing to say about this place. I got what I paid for. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation!!

Close to the airport

Posted Mar 18, 2015
The best things about hotel were that it was close to the hotel, dependable shuttle service, welcoming staff. The air conditioning was a little iffy. Was going to eat at restaurant but it was not appealing. I put yes for recommend but that is is really a "maybe"
