Super 8 Motel - Hayward/Downtown

This hotel is better than all the other hotels on the same street. Quiet!!!

The hotel was very accessible to the freeway which was nice. A few food places very close by as well. As for the room, it didn't have a microwave as advertised, if u wanted to heat some food up you had to walk to the office. We even had to walk to the office for our extra pillows. Towels were worn down but the price was pretty reasonable so again, you get what u pay for. I would stay there again but it definitely wouldn't be my first option

I was pleasantlly surprized by the quick check in service. The room was clean and came with a mini fridge,coffe maker and even a blow dryer. I will definitely stay there in the futur and would recommend it to anyone on a tight budget.

Places like this are for short business stays, rest stops and no more. Serves its purpose fine if that is the case.

Lots of outside noise. Pillows were very small and they had no extras.

Our room was horrible! We checked in and dropped our stuff off quickly and did not return until around 10 pm. We noticed the air conditioner would not turn on and toilet was plugged. We went to office and told them and he said rudely sorry there are no more rooms and handed my boyfriend a plunger. The man working came up about half hour later and messed with a/c for about 5 min then went and got a screen to put on our window..only one outlet worked in the room, the one in bathroom did not. This was the worst room I have ever had!

The room was decent, as was the service. Nothing special. If you're looking for an average hotel (nothing fancy or over the top whatsoever), then this is the place to go. One thing that sucked was the television. You only get about 10 channels, and 5 of them are just static. The refrigerator was pretty big for a hotel, and the location is perfect (super close to the freeway, and a whole bunch of places to eat that aren't even 5 minutes away).
