Rooms Running Cold

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: Convenient location.
Cons: Fresher breakfast. Could offer choices of softer pillows.
Overall this is a good place to stay if you are travelling through Oakridge with friendly stuff at the front desk and typically furnished rooms. Our room was quite cold when we arrived and the heater was extremely loud so we found it little difficult to sleep with it running and opted to sleep in our jackets instead. It would not be a problem if we arrived earlier during the day and had a chance to heat the room before going to bed but unfortunately that was not our case. Be careful when eating breakfast, we found some mold on the bread that was offered and the biscuits and waffles felt little stale. Have a backup plan for breakfast.

Stop to rest after coming back from Crater Lake

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Only that it took dogs but it was not up to the standands of other Best Westerns.
Cons: We could not pay for it on Expedia and had to pay at the hotel, which did not qualify us for points or use of a coupon.
Location: Not much to do or see around there with very few places to eat, we ordered from Subway and took it back to our room.
I had stayed at a Best Western in Sutherliin the night before which was excellent and so I was comparing it to my night before. The hotel staff was short handed so they were checking people in and cleaning rooms, although they were pleasant but when I needed to find someone to help me with a room card that did not work it too awhile. The bed was not very comfortabel and they pillows the same, my back hurt in the morning. The room was old, there was mold and caulking around the tub/shower and the bathroom floors smelled like they were not cleaned very well for the caulking between the tiles were black where they should have been a much lighter color. I was glad I had my slippers with me for I would not want to walk on the floor without shoes. They had a small kitchen area with a stove but there was not any dishes, hand towels or papers towels and so I guess they did not want us to use it. Missed the fresh cookies that I have had upon check in at other Best Western, I did not eat the continental breakfast for I wasn't expecting much and I had some yougurt with me.

Great for Mountain Bike Oregon

Posted Aug 21, 2013
Had everything I needed for our weekend at Mountain bike Oregon! Quiet clean room. Wi Fi, hot tub and swimming pool to cool off and relax the tired muscles.

Rest Assured at Best Western Oakridge Inn

Posted Jul 1, 2013
Owners excelled in warm hospitality and making guests feel welcome. Clean scent-free rooms, comfortable beds, relaxing hot tub and pool after a long day of driving, filling complimentary breakfast, and helpful tips on local restaurants and attractions all added to the pleasure of our stay.

Worth while

Posted Sep 14, 2012
Pros: Staff
Cons: Little noisy
Location: very easy to find
A little noisy because it is right off the main road, but everything in town is that way. Would definitely stay again. Very nice staff.

Great place to stay on a road trip with kids

Posted Jul 28, 2012
Friendly staff. Kids loved the pool and hot tub. Front desk saw that I had kids and knew I did not want a smoking room (mistake on the reservation) and had a nonsmoking room close to the pool ready for us. They also went out of their way to make more waffle batter even though we were a bit late to breakfast.

A little pricey

Posted Jul 9, 2012
Rather pricey for the area. I was on a bike trip from Oakridge to BLue River and back on the Aufdenheide Memorial Drive. Our Blue River hotel was similar, but much less.
