A very nice property. Great location and staff was excellent. The food and drink at the bar/restaurant was quite good. What made our stay a 4 instead of a 5 was the loud noise level of other guests in the courtyard, adjacent to rooms, which was allowed to proceed after 10:00. Staff should keep things quiet after 10:00. Not asking for silence, just quiet.

The property is beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. They kept our bags for 5 days as we traveled to the coast. Room was a little noisy and odd ( felt like an add on) but clean, well stocked with coffee and water. Comfortable king bed.

We had a gray stay here for five nights. I highly recommend the location. A little disappointed because they not offer me my upgrade the day we checked in. The next morning I asked about it and I felt like I got the runaround..

This was by far the cleanest and loveliest property we stayed at in Mexico! Location is perfect for shorter walks into the zocalo. Just remember internet is very very bad but if you’re ok to work in the central courtyard you should be fine. The building is old so walls are thin and you can get disturbed by noise on the streets if you’re a light sleeper. I found the beds super comfortable and didn’t feel I needed to worry about noise but my mom was easily disturbed.

My top hotel choice in Oaxaca is Casa De Sierra Azul. Mr. Martin and his staff provide an excellent service. Restaurants, galleries, churches, museums, and the Zocalo are all easily accessible on foot from this magnificent hacienda.

It was a good sized two bedded room, which was just off the court yard, it was very pretty. There was a small restaurant there. The local Mexican offers were good. Staff all very helpful. It was well placed. I’d stay again .

Updated traditional architecture with a beautiful courtyard. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Property was very clean, secure and the Zocalo is just a 5 minute walk away. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The property is beautiful and all staff was friendly. Location is perfect. Family members are planning a trip but will not be staying at Casa De Sierra Azulejo. We paid for a room with a hot tub and did not get reimbursed for the difference. Be careful with what you pay for. Frank Cabrera

Unfortunately, there was no smile or friendly greeting when checking in - not a nice welcome after a long journey. The courtyard may look nice - but it works like an echo chamber: we had a room on the ground floor and it was very loud. Very difficult to sleep. We asked for a room upstairs, but it was declined and the staff didn't seem to care much

Very professional and friendly staff. I recommend to have breakfast there since the food is delicious and you feel at home. Location is prime, just a couple blocks from the main plaza.

We stayed 4 nights, this was our second time staying at this hotel . First time we stayed the front desk service was terrible but we really enjoyed the location and their garden area. This time again front desk terrible, rude and not friendly. Our room did not looked like the one on the picture. They were also painting right outside our room which that was a little inconvenient due to the smell of fresh paint and the noise they were making. The hot water ran out twice while taking a shower. The location is perfect and the staff try to do their best but will skip this hotel next time we’re in Oaxaca
