Great hotel, needs some updates

Pros: CLEAN.
Cons: New ironing board/iron. And memory foam pillows available upon request for those with neck/back issues (not just 'shredded foam' and down pillows).
Location: Several restaurants and conveniences.
The Hampton Inn in Ocala was convenient, clean, and the staff was terrific. Breakfast was impressive and satisfying, and the hotel and grounds were very clean, tidy and welcoming. The one thing I would say is the ironing board was rickety and the iron barely got warm for me to iron clothes and I thought the mini-fridge was broken until I got on my hands-and-knees and found a thermostat inside and turned it on. I'd give the place a 4.7 out of 5...it is clean, secure, convenient to lots of eating and other amenities and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I just think that the iron/ironing board could have worked better and the mini-fridge should already be "on" to welcome guests.

Comfortable,clean hotel near the interstate

Pros: Clean, comfortable and well appointed.
Location: Close to I-75. Across the street from a fabulous Asian Fusion restaurant.
My wife and I had a very pleasant one night system at the Hampton Inn in Ocala. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was well appointed and the shower was great with a great shower head and water pressure. The bed was very comfortable. We appreciated having both a small refrigerator and a microwave. Finally, the free breakfast was delicious and the breakfast area was very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice new hotel, great breakfast, wild carpet in hallway. Much better than the Hampton I stay at in Tampa. I would stay there again. Location is near busy intersection and I75, but did not notice any highway noise.

The hotel is new and very nice and comfortable. The only negative is the odd numbered rooms that are on the side of the hotel that faces the interstate. As long as the a/c is running, you don't really notice the traffic noise, but when it cuts off, you do. They supply ear plugs, but I would suggest that you ask for an even number room and that should be fine.

shame about the i75

This is a fantastic hotel .. Only 18 months old .. Everything was perfect . Plenty of bars and restraints close by ... Only one problem we where given a room on the back of the peppery and the I 75 is only 100 yards away . Traffic never stopped all night . Shame as this is a lovely hotel ....

Too loud from the highway.

Hotel is a great hotel, breakfast was wonderful. While sleeping, the highway noise was too loud. Hard to get a good night sleep with the room on the highway side!
