Red Roof Inn & Suites Ocala

The hotel is great with good facilities a great staff and close to everything. But it allows pets and smoking and if you're going to allow that you should have separate floors. My room was nonsmoking but the hall leading to it could have been a bar. The same with pets I have dogs but don't travel with them and I don't want to stay in a room where one has been. But these are both easy fixes and I hope the management will look at them.

black mold at tub to tile, wobbly toilet, ceil repair incomplete and that is just the bathroom. Not to mention we booked 2 adults and 2 children and there was 2 towels in the bathroom.

I wasn't impressed when I realized my nonsmoking room was the only one located on that particular floor. It was tolerable for one night...but reminded me why its always safer to book a smoke free hotel.

Price was right. Breakfast was ok by me. Did hear some highway noise but not enough to disturb sleeping.

I was greeted as I entered the hotel. The young ladies at the front desk were friendly and courteous. You could smell the fresh baked cookies in the afternoon to add that special touch of hometown living. They were very helpful with information of the area. Rooms were comfortable and clean. I would not hestitate to return to the hotel when back in the area.
