Things were good until I had an encounter with the morning receptionist on 10/7. She approached me while I was in my vehicle about music. I had apologized because I didn’t know I was parked over guest rooms. She gave me ugly looks and mumbled words. I went to my room and all of a sudden my key didn’t work. I had a two day stay but checked out on the afternoon of 10/7. I didn’t understand her complaining about the little music I was playing but never said anything to the guys that were there with the tremendously loud vehicles for the car show

Cold indoor pool
Place is good but pool wasn’t heated because hotel was trying to save money. At these rates, the could afford to heat the pool.

The accommodations far exceeded our expectations. Only complaint is that we had a king bed but the top sheet and blanket were the size for a queen bed at best. They barely covered the top of the bed, creating a battle for covers at night. The no smoking policy is apparently unenforceable as there were guests smoking each night of our stay. The room itself was roomy and the AC worked great!

The room was absolutely disgusting upon arrival the fridge broke the stove top was uneven and had to be replaced I HAD TO CLEAN THE ROOM MYSELF. Always had to go to desk for linens and garbage bags toiletries etc.. the attitude of some staff was horrendous and I was double charged for one of my nights and the manager has yet to call me talk to me in person while there or respond to emails. 10/10 do not recommend!!!!

AN ABSOLUTE DUMP!
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. There is strange people in the parking lot at night that don’t even work for the hotel just there hanging out with the employees and lingering around the hotels for unknown reasons. The elevator is like playing a game with your life whether you are going to drop to the ground at any second. The pool was a breeding ground for disease, I was lucky enough to just come out with foot fungus from dipping my feet in for a minute. (Hopefully that’s all it is) My shower literally did not drain at all during my stay I had to use my friends. Not that I even wanted to from the pubes that were left in there from a previous guest and black mold. Towels were dirty. Don’t book if you want to smoke on your balcony they will fine you and kick you out. The keys will randomly shut off. If you choose to still stay here please bring extra padding for you bed, the flinstones had more comfortable sleeping arrangements. There were bugs everywhere absolutely gross. Horrible smells everywhere like dead fish. I tried to call hotels to change my reservation but the “manager” was no help and called the hotel informing them of my issues making my stay even more uncomfortable. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in ocean city over the years and this by far is the biggest dump you could ever stay at DONT GO HERE!

My second time at this Hotel first time was great. This trip, check in was smooth, However the unit was not clean, dishes were dirty, pasta and cheese clearly visible in and on the pot, dishes had left over food on them, the silverware was greasy. Living room/Kitchen floor was visibly dirty, I asked a housekeeper for a broom and mop so that I could clean the room as I was traveling with a toddler, response I received they are the only ones to handle the mop and brooms, she charted our room( I assumed she was going to get someone to handle it, no one ever came to clean the room) I went to the store and bought some cleaning products and cleaned the floor on my own with the towels provided in the room. The bathroom smelled like urine. Found a smashed water bottle under the mattress, sheets were soiled. This hotel has plenty of potential hope they get it together.

Early morning feeding
The hotel seemed nice at first! tub clogged, lights burned out curtain ballast was hanging, glass hanging out of picture toys on floor behind beds, no outlets, had to clean the plank and bath floor. 3 am new surprises awaited us and my family 6 suites down. Bed bugs came out of wood work and outlets to have breakfast on us. Collected our extra guests took them to front desk. Girl smashed one. Blood popped on counter. They put us in another hotel for 4 hrs. Ziggy the manger next morning offered us another room at the cayman. I told him I had my license in pest control and he had infestation, he told me I was over reacting, they were not a problem. They refunded our money, our vacation was lost, we had to find another hotel, throw luggage and items away and go to laundry mat and wash and high heat our clothing. Just in case to not take them home. The next 2 days later. We saw guests in our old rooms and on the patios. There is no way they treated the bed bugs, that fast. All I can say. Is good luck to those poor guests who now will take them home and it cost $$$$ to kill them. I am a licensed , I see this all the time. They had all stages from nymph to adults on the fourth floor. They go thru the walls. They follow outlets etc. Sad they didn’t do the right thing. We wasted so much money and time. Beware! Check your beds in early morning. Check for dirt markings on your bare mattress and make sure your ACs aren’t at freezing temps before entering your rooms.

Reasonable stay/reasonable price
Reasonable stay for a reasonably priced hotel. Not nearly as nice as the Carousel where we usually stay, Pros: Clean room Comfortable beds good location Kitchen well stocked Cons: not given requested floor due even though it was confirmed(placed on highest floor) beds were double beds not the queens I paid extra to have game room and elevator not air conditioned or climate controlled only found one broken down cart to transport belongings the entire stay wet floors were dangerous especially the a/c unit leaking on the 5th floor Staff was inconsistent, pleasant front desk worker(young female brunette) the first day and grumpy unsociable person the next - they should at least say hello back to the guests. Future travelers: The beds are small so if you are extra fluffy or tall, be forewarned. Also, we were told it was a 4 cup coffee maker. It was a single that takes bags, not pods.

when we bought rooms, it was super cheap, and for the price we paid, it was good value. room was a bit dirty with really old appliances (sink and microwave especially) but the area was spacious and the bed was nice, and there were no real problems. good deal for proximity to beach.

Recently stayed here for a beach trip with kids. We read prior reviews so wasn’t expecting a 5 star hotel. We just needed a place to stay that didn’t break the bank. We planned ahead and took what we need to make our stay comfortable. We liked that it had a living room and a small kitchenette to cook some of our meals. Although the room provides everything, we brought our own things to cook with and utensils. Even cleaning supplies to wipe everything down and keep the floor clean from all the sand we brought from the beach. As far as our room, everything was in working order and had no issues. The location was perfect for us. We loved the options to eat and stores which were all walking distance if you didn’t want to drive. Best of all, there is beach access from either side street.
