“hotel just ok”

This hotel is very old looking furniture in rooms is old and damaged .Bed was comfortable and clean, water pressure runs very slow in bathtub. This place needs a NEW face lift but all in all I guess for the money it was ok for one nite Thy said they were going to have a price increase I sure hope they have a overhaul along with it.

“Good value for the price”

This was our third time staying here in Ocean City. Being the off season (NOV), not many Hotels were open. We stop here to see our son who lives near by on our way from Upstate New York to Florida The Fenwick Inn is a excellent place to stay and a great value for the price. The room had minor issues but the evening staff took care of it and was friendly. We will stay here again on our return trip to New York.

“A fine hotel”

We stayed one weeknight toward the beginning of the off-season (mid-October, 2011). At that time, this hotel offered one of the very most affordable nightly rates anywhere in OC. We had no problems accept for that the ice machine on our floor was inoperable. Breakfast room service was nothing special, but was decent. The top floor bar/restaurant and indoor pool set the Fenwick apart. The hotel is located at the very northern end of Ocean City, just before Fenwick Island. There's a 7-11 directly across the street that sells beer. I've stayed in dozens of hotels, mostly cheaper ones. I've stayed in 3-4 cheaper hotels in OC. The Fenwick is one of the better economy hotels I've experienced, at OC or otherwise.

“Hidden wonder at Ocean City”

Fenwick Inn was a pleasant surprise! For what I paid and how late I reserved the room, I did not expect such great service or amenities. I fully expected to have to leave the hotel for entertainment but there were 2 indoor pools on the 1st floor and a full restaurant, bar and nightclub on the top floor; and if that wasn't enough, it was literally across the street from a fairly vacant, well kept beach area. Also Check-in and Check-out were a breeze, parking spots were accessible and numerous and the hotel staff was accommodating, friendly and approachable. I highly recommend Fenwick Inn for an ocean city vacation any time of year!

“I'd stay here again.”

I came in town at the last minute and was able to get a good rate on a room. The staff waa helpful and the food was good upstairs in the resturant. Great people working there also. Im going back in a few weeks and Im planning to stay there again.

“I will probably select a different hotel the next time.”

My first impression of the room was that it smelled a combination of cigarette smoke and smelly body odor. The toilet seat in the bathroom was loose. I tightened it myself. There wasn't a comfortable sofa chair in the room. We had poor water pressure to take showers. There was a lot of banging coming from somewhere on our second night. By the way, the windows had a bad film on them as well. They needed cleaning. I guess that is why the price was so cheap? My said that the carpets needed cleaning to get rid of the smell. Now I understand what a 2 star rating means.

“just ok”

Our room was large clean and comfortable,hotel staff was not receptive to upgrades and was not very friendly, 2 blocks from beach but far away from boardwalk. back entrances were unattractive due to employees smoking area and junk around! We were there at 3;15 but couldnt get a room, we were told to come back in 45 minutes, it was a weekday and didnt appear to be very busy!!! also restrooms in main hallway were not working!! No complimentary breakfasts were available!!!

“Will never go back”

When first arriving, the staff behind the desk had arguments and wher rude to 3 of the registered clients. They made us wait until after the check in time, while allowing other guest to check in early. The room was dark, with soiled carpets, torn furniture, holes in the curtains, and the tub was even pulled apart. It did not look anything like the pictures on line. We were so unhappy that we checked out early the next day and found nicer accomidations.
