“Hospitality, Niceness & Charmitality”
Harrison Hall is not cloned from the chain hotels. It presents itself as a pleasant, old-fashioned establishment with all of the basics well-covered. Have you ever experienced "hospitality?" Harrison Hall demonstrates hospitality in many ways, but it became evident in a very unlikely place: guest "soda" machines vend drinks at a surprisingly low price. Also, every staff member with whom we spoke was friendly, caring & sincere. Room windows are equipped with easy-to-open vinyl-replacement variety and perfect screens. Rocking chairs on the HUGE porch overlook the boardwalk, beach & ocean. Just inside the porch is a very pleasant, welcoming, tall-windowed day room. You will relax when you enter this room. Skip the beach and hang out here with the great view, big TV, courtesy internet computer, microwave oven, coffee, tea & fruit. Water pressure in the showers fluctuates from weak to less weak (hotel blames municipality.)
“Good experience for the money”
Room was small. Bathroom was a bit bigger than I expected, but still small. Very nice location. Stepping off of the front porch, you're right on the boardwalk. Friendly maid service.
“A Nice Oceanfront Stay”
We'd definitely stay at this hotel again. It was right on the boardwalk and close to everywhere we wanted to go. It was cleaner than I expected and have no complaints other than that the water pressure in the shower wasn't as strong as I had hoped.
“A porch with a view”
Harrison Hall is a charming older establishment. While the bathroom facilities were very tight, all was clean. We had an ocean front room with working windows. The staff members were always pleasant and helpful. The entire property was kept swept and cleaned. We stayed there for just a couple of days mid week. Location and parking were the big draw for us. Situated directly on the boardwalk we were in the midst of activity but far enough away from the main commercial hustle that we could here the surf throughout our stay.
“Great time, nice people.”
We had a great time for our stay at this hotel. Our room was upgraded to a ocean front room at no charge, which was beautiful to wake up to in the AM. The location was great, and the room was clean/comfortable. My only complaint is that the walls are paper thin, but you expect that with a cheaper hotel RIGHT on the boardwalk. TRY THE FRACTURED PRUNE DOUGHNUT SHOP.....AND TEQUILA MOCKINGBIRD MEXICAN RESTAURANT!!
“Looking forward to Guest Appreciation Days stay”
My sister and I had stayed here many years ago. This time, my husband and I enjoyed the hospitality of Harrison Hall. We really enjoyed using the rocking chairs on the front porch. It was wonderful sitting out there with morning coffee and watching the sun come up over the Atlantic Ocean. We also met some friendly people who were also staying there. It's a great hotel and we look forward to a return visit.
“Cant wait to go back”
Had a great time hotel was great.
“I like the feeling of being in a hotel I remember seeing when I was much younger.”
My daughter and I have a history of visiting Ocean City once a year since she was just out of college. The last 2 years we've stayed at the Harrison Hall Hotel -- me and her family -- this year a 2 year old and a 5 year old and her husband. I like to treat them to this -- it's affordable for me, the people who work there have been very kind to us and we like the atmosphere of being in a hotel that's been there as long as I can remember and we love being on the Boardwalk and the Ocean very much.
“HOMW AWAY FROM HOME”
We got our rooms up-graded to ocean veiw for free, my three young grandaughters just loved the hotel. The three year old did not want to leave. When we go back to ocean city this is the only place we will stay.
“Great Middle Boardwalk OC Hotel”
I took my wife to the ocean for our 37 anniversary. The hotel was one of the older ones in Ocean City but it had all the amenities we needed and it is right on the boardwalk. Close enough to the amusements but not so close that it is too noise. The staff was great. The pool was nice. WiFi in the lobby allowed me to check e-mail. My wife rocked on the porch and listen to the waves while I worked on my notebook. It was a great place to stay at a great price. The other places we had stayed in the past were booked up due to Bike week. I was glad because this was better than the other places we have stayed in the past.
