“Perfectly fine hotel”

We were very happy with this hotel, yes it's not on the beach but we did have a sea view. It is convenient for both Ocean City and the beaches in Delaware. We had the added bonus of being in the hotel during the Winter Lightfest which is held right behind the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised with breakfast which had lots to choose from: cereals, bagels, toast, muffins, sausage or ham (depending on the day), scrambled eggs, pastries, and an excellent pancake machine. The front desk were very friendly and gave lots of advice when asked. We would recommend this hotel.

“Excellent Hotel but Location is 5 blocks from the Beach”

Everything about the hotel was excellent. It caters to families but the children were well behaved. I asked expedia to provide hotel with ocean view - NOT AT THIS HOTEL and access to the beach - NOT AT THIS HOTEL. You walk approximately 5 blocks to the beach.

“Will go back again. Recommended to friends!”

Our stay was pleasant from beginning to end, No complaints at all. The hotel was clean and neat. Will recommend everyone to try it out. Great location too!

“Older Holiday Inn but close to beach”

For the price this was an okay find however the older Holiday Inn (old style rooms) lacked new beds (caved in) and the AC was not too cool. The free breakfast was from 6:30am to 9:30am not good if you have kids at the beach all day. (kiddos wanted to sleep in - only got breakfast one time out six mornings)

“Family Friendly”

We reserved our room at the last minute for Fireman's Week. The hotel was family friendly and had a morning buffet for all. We had both an indoor heated pool and an outside pool. We were pleased.

“Nice stay for the price.”

The room was clean, the pool was nice, the bus stop was right out front. My only complaint is that the complimentary breakfast was less than mediocre. Not a lot of healthy selections available (bananas were the only fruit and the yogurt was full of high fructose corn syrup - no Chobani or other healthy yogurt available). They had a laundry room that was nice and clean too. Hotel staff provided incorrect information regarding boardwalk activities. One would think they would be knowledgeable.

“Good time in Ocean City”

Overall the room was clean and tidy. The beds were sooooo comfortable - firm but with a soft cushioning (maybe a pillow top mattress? - i don't know) The breakfast was awesome! Scrambled eggs, canadian bacon, biscuits with gravy, pancake maker, four choices of cereal (cheerios, raisin bran, froot loops, frosted flakes), hardboiled eggs, coffee, juices, peanut butter, jelly, cream cheese, english muffins, bagels, small muffins (poppy seed, blueberry). Hotel has indoor and outdoor pool and lounge chairs which were readily available and the pool area was very clean. Pool itself had crystal clear water and looked very clean as well. The hotel is across the street from the beach - very convenient to walk to. It is about a 10 minute drive to the main part of the boardwalk (1st-9th streets has rides and more shops). The boardwalk stretches about 30 blocks and in that area there is more of a college spring break kind of feel. I preferred the hotel location because it was away from the crowds of party people. There are tons of restaurants to dine at and just about all of them seem to have crab on the menu :). If you are sick of seafood, the Crab Bag has really good burgers. There's lots to do in OC: kayaking, casino (Ocean Downs-15-20 min drive south west), antique shopping in Berlin (15 min drive southwest), outlet shopping in Rehoboth beach (30 min drive north), beach, boardwalk with rides on the pier, Assateague park (wild horses, 20 min drive southwest)

Nice hotel, free breakfast, easy in and out.
