The hotel was wonderful. It was right on the boarkwalk with a quick cross to the beach. The bistro had great food but terrible and slow service. The staff was friendly and quick with service. I can't wait to go back!

My room was on the top floor, ocean front. It was fantastic the way that **both** doors opened out to the balcony with a great view of the ocean. The room was clean and neat. The bathroom looked like it had been remodeled a few years ago - very nice. Staff were very nice and of great help. I'll be going back.

“Loved our room”

When we walked in to the hotel our first thought was oh, no. The lobby was dull and dingy. The front desk clerk was very nice, however and as we went up to our room with much trepidation on first appearances, we were pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean spacious and the view was just wonderful. If you just spent a little more money to have a view and a balcony, you will find it well worth it. The cleaning person was very nice and each day the room was cleaned with great care. Each time you walk by the front desk, the clerk always said hello. The parking garage always had a space for our car, which made things simple. The dumpsters from the restaurants next door is behind them, which is exactly the place you have to walk by to get to the garage, which is not pleasant. That, however, is not the hotel's fault. The hotel was centrally located and you can walk to many of the recommended restaurants. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything was perfect! All of the workers were very friendly and helpful. Convience was great! Right on the boardwalk and right across the boardwalk to entrance to beach. Will look forward to visiting them again.

The view was beautiful. Staff was friendly. We arrived late and were granted a late checkout. Pool and spa were well kept.

the hotel was great . the staff was amazing . the only downfall was the elevator . slow and very very bouncy.

We would definitely stay at Howard Johnson's Oceanfront Plaza again!! The hotel was very nice, the location was great, and the views were spectacular! My only complaint is that the bed was almost TOO comfy! =)
