Staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. Parking on premises was extremely limited but we went off season for our first stay there so we got lucky. Very reasonably priced. Oceanfront w/balcony was great.

Did not like that there was no hot water in the shower lady at the front desk was so sweet offered another room unfortunately we were all settled in and in bed already. For the price of the room they may want to check that prior to checking people into their rooma.

This was our third time staying at Ocean 1. The location is superb and you can walk all over. The view of the beach & ocean is great. Every time the staff has been very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend...Will stay again

We attended Oceans Calling a three day music festival. The location was perfect and why we picked this site. Clean and convenient with an outside balcony.

Nice but loud
It was okay. Main issue was the noise. A trash truck woke us up both mornings at 5 AM. It was very loud since our room was located by the alley despite us requesting a top floor quiet room we didn’t get it. so loud we thought it was thunder from a storm. The doors are also very heavy so you can hear people whenever they leave their room and the door slams behind them. If you are a light sleeper I would avoid. Also keep in mind we sleep with white noise machine and earplugs and still heard everything. The hot tub was nice and the jets worked better than expected. Also convenient location. They could have been a little more accommodating with late checkout, the first guy was nice and let us do 11:45 but the other worker made us call early in the morning and then we couldn’t even fall back asleep after.

Our stay was great! The staff was wonderful and friendly! The only thing was the parking for the hotel is about a block 1/2 away. It wasn't a big deal for us but if you have issues walking you should know this beforehand. Also, there is no privacy from the next rooms on the balcony. Again, just something to note beforehand:)

This property is immaculately clean. We booked last min due unfortunate circumstance with going home. The room sas huge and very clean. The staff including housekeeping were incredibly nice and sweet. The location is perfect for leaving the car parked and walking djstance to everything. Patking is tiny and only downfall.

The cleanliness of the room is terrible, There was hair on the bed, the bathroom door does not lock, the mini refrigerator and microwave is dirty, and there was sand all over the floor.

We had to ask multiple times to get more toilet paper. Finally the woman at the counter reached below the desk and gave us a roll. Multiple spots with mold on the ceiling. Shower wouldn’t get hot. The jacuzzi had water hotter than the shower. Pillows were great. Could use better blankets on the beds.

Pros- LOCATION! Right on the boardwalk. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Very basic/no frills, which was fine with us Cons- parking is a few blocks away. Not a problem for us, but understand that it could be for other ppl. Would recommend adding a hose or faucet outside so you can rinse when coming off the beach

When we first arrive at the hotel there was no parking we couldn't Park in the handicap parking until the next day when we got to the room there was sand on the floor no towels in the room the rump could have been updated the refrigerator was off leaking water the walls could have been cleaned better but overall I had a nice the staff was very nice to the TV in the room stopped working and they came right away to fix it

If you're looking for a hotel right on the boardwalk, this is it. Easy walk to everything. Hotel isnt fancy but a place to rest your tires eyes. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would atay again.

We really do love this place,but...
The staff are helpful with everything and we got into our room early. The hotel and location of it are great!. However, if you are planning on using the pull out sofa to sleep on beware. The sofa bed sheets had not been changed or blankets added in the room. The staff brought clean sheets and a blanket but in the end it was not in any shape to sleep on. It was broken down, luckily my grandson was able to sleep on it but an adult would not. Overall we love this place and have stayed there many times. Things just need to be looked over when you get there to make sure you're not dealing with all this at bedtime.

Good location. Had property taken from my room. Never asked for maid service until the last day… came back to missing clothing and other valuable possession. Hotel refused to acknowledge the theft. Will never visit OCMD again.

Overall nice!
OVERALL, very clean and simple. Loved the flooring throughout the whole place (weird thing to like, I know) Seemed like the front desk staff and housekeeping staff weren’t on the same page. Also seemed like they may have been short housekeeping staff. Also the room we stayed in was huge, but half of the room was just blank walls and the jacuzzi tub. Not complaining- just a bit weird 😂

The hotel is RIGHT on the beach but that’s not even why I would come back . The staff were so friendly & kind the man at the desk walked outside to guide me to the closet parking lot (there are 3 very close to the hotel to chose from ) the location was great . I can’t wait to book my next trip :)
