Wonderful vacation
Posted Jan 2, 2013
Pros: The friendliness of the staff
Cons: The 2 hour trip from the airport
Location: Beautiful beach
Our third time and still the best! The beach, the swim up bar and the top of the line drinks make this the best all inclusive we have ever been to and we have been to at least 5.

Best honeymoon spot!
Posted Jan 2, 2013
Pros: The Snorkeling, the people, the waterside, and the food.
Cons: The resort keeps you away from Jamaica. We did the shopping trip and they took us to the Taj Mahal. We were excepting to see more of the real Jamaica.
Location: A little far from the airport but close to all the main attractions. The location was good. Beautiful ocean.
Wonderful people and service. The grounds were absolutely breathtaking and there was always something to do. Food was delicious and the drinks flowed are entire vacation. We will definitely be back!!!!!!

Beautiful and private hotel stay
Posted Jan 7, 2013
Pros: Grounds, foliage, beach, bartenders.
Cons: Needs more seafood choices-surprisingly limited during our stay.
Location: Dunn Falls definite to-do, shopping at local market.
Beautiful grounds and areas with small private feel beach and activities. We have been to other larger all inclusive resorts and to compare, this would be a smaller somewhat more limited version of other resorts. Simply less restaurant and meal choices, smaller beach, less overall area but still good quality. We enjoyed the more intimate feel being in a smaller location. It all depends on what type of vacation you are looking for.

Too Much To Do, Too Little Time!
Posted Jan 27, 2013
Pros: The food, the staff, the ambiance!
Location: Private beach, lots of stairs, wonderful gardens and natural settings
We stayed from Apr 15-22, 2013. The resort is 2 hrs away from Montego Bay, but the scenery is lovely & the bus had A/C. "Capt Steve" drove, keeping us entertained. Our return trip was less pleasant–the driver was sleepy. We had a One Bed Beachfront Suite, steps from the main pool, water sports and beach. There were small issues (closet door didn't close; sticky drawers), but the bathroom was large, the bed comfortable and the room spotless. We had to climb stairs to get to the Spa level and Lobby areas; we didn't use the elevator because we needed exercise! The food was excellent. Breakfast & lunch buffets provided lots of choice. All restaurants had great dinner menus, which changed through the week. The entertainment team, waiters & bartenders were helpful. My husband went diving. With expert teaching by Phillip, Michael and Nicholas, he became a PADI-certified diver in 3 days. The beach is private. It is not huge, but large enough. There were always lounges available. We went to Dunn's River Falls. Our guide put me right beside him; it was great! We didn't go on other excursions–not enough time! The staff have a talent for faces and names. We made many friends. People who went above & beyond: Carline, "Linguini", Phillip, Michael, Nicholas, Vanesia, Vanya, Milton, Cason, Jeanel, Bryan, Cecil, and Jerome (Bobo). Many other staff members helped make our stay memorable. We're already looking forward to our next stay at this lovely resort!

Money well spent

Pros: "everything" ... food, beach, resort grounds (greenery, flowers etc)
Cons: reserving a beach chair .... but by day two, you will learn the trick to getting your pick.
Location: long journey from MoBay airport (2 hrs) but worth every minute once you arrive at the resort.... piece of heaven!
Friendly & helpful staff. Private beach is a plus! We have always felt there is too much of the world to see so we have never gone back to the same place twice .... well that has changed, we are going back to Sans Souci next year. Fabulous resort!!! Only negative we found with the resort is if you want to cash in US$ travelers cheques, the hotel will only provide you with Jamaican currency (100 US = 9,000.00 Jamaican). Beach vendors, stores, etc only want US $ . If plan to wonder off the resort or purchase a few carvings from the beach vendors you need US$. I would recommend you take US $ in small denominations ($1 & $5) with you. As for CDN $, forget it.....

I love it!!

Pros: Customer Service and Entertainment staff is awesome!!
Cons: Um....probably the stairs
Location: It is on it's own private beach and close to all of the great attractions!
I am big on customer service so I will start by saying, they nailed it! My husband and I love to travel, and we have never stayed anywhere that made us want to come back until now! Couples resorts is great for the active person with tons of water sports and planned activities, but it is also great for those looking for less activity and more romance. We chose to participate in all of the activities and had a blast with the entertainment staff. It is clear that the entertainment staff have a better quality of living than in many resorts....they really made the stay for us! The rooms at San Souci are a little bit out dated...but they are clean, spacious, and comfortable. There is a lot of food I don't like, but there wasn't a single thing I ate here that I didn't like. Yum yum! I LOVE Couples and can't wait for my next visit!

Sans Souci
Posted Jan 14, 2013
Pros: The food, the drinks, and the views.
Cons: The beach itself is very small because of the cliffs that surround it. On the other hand, the cliffs make Sans Souci a very private resort.
Location: The entire resort stretches along the beautiful cliffs of Ocho Rios. This makes for some great views, but some tall stairs to climb.
My wife and I had a great time here. We stayed for 5 nights and never even left the resort. The grounds are beautiful and very well-kept, and for the most part the staff is very friendly. From our room to the beach was a long walk (5-10 minutes), but that was one of our favorite parts. I would recommend this hotel for people looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.
