Wouldn't go anywhere else in Jamaica.Posted Dec 1, 2013
Pros: See above.
Cons: Can't think of anything. In my view, it is perfect.
Location: Dolphin Cove, Dunn's River Falls, Ziplining, shopping, etc. w/i short drive, but you do not need to leave the resort. There's plenty to do.
We love Couples San Souci. It is a beautiful resort filled with trees, palms, flowers, etc. and the staff makes us feel like we've come home. The food is excellent and you will never go hungry there. It's beautiful and we can't wait to go back. Several of the staff made our visit especially comfortable and friendly, and we really appreciated that, although, everyone was wonderful. They also have a lovely dinner for return guests that we really enjoy. The spa is wonderful - we had two couples' massages and they were very relaxing.

Very secluded and private.Posted Nov 8, 2013
Pros: Very secluded and private. There definitely isn't a big resort feel. The foliage surrounding the resort was beautiful and up kept.
Cons: There was construction taking place below our room. A jackhammer was running from 10am-5pm 3 of the days we were there.
Location: Everyone we spoke to recommended the Dunn River Falls tour. It was amazing. The staff was excellent and if was very enjoyable.

Food was good.Posted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: Food and drink.
Cons: Late check out and early check in.
Location: The location was suitable on a basic aspect but the resort needed updating, the place is on the old side.
Most of the staff was professional even though an individual at the dive shop by the name of Patrick needs to learn how to speak and treat the customer with respect. He had a very demeaning attitude when I was going to sign up for diving and looked down from his nose at me when he was speaking to me. The food and drink was good. One of the main pools was under construction which was unsightly. Last but not least, there were a lot of stairs to climb throughout the resort so, one should be in some kind of physical condition to deal with it properly.

Nice hotel right on the beach.Posted Aug 25, 2013
Cons: The only complaint I have is that at night it is almost impossible to see in some areas. A few more lights would make this place perfect.
We had a great experience. The staff is great! We met a lot of nice people at Couples San Souci. We frequent Jamaica, and usually stay at a different resort each time. We will definitely visit this one again.

Couples was worth what I paid, but no morePosted Aug 22, 2013
Pros: close to the ocean, NOT crowded
Cons: room quality & food selection
The resort was right on the ocean, NOT crowded, and peaceful. 5 day trip; expect 2 full days to be devoted to travel. First meal: cheeseburger- mold on bun. Upon checking into the suite the table in the living room was broken, chipped tiles, chipped paint & concrete on the viranda, and the balcony door did NOT open without EXTREME force. Room needed maintenance but it did feel clean. The staff is semi/pretty helpful, except on day 3 we found out that there was a waffle/omelet station that we were never told about, so we were just eating buffet breakfast for almost all the trip. You don't have to tip according to the website, but staff DOES except tips--every time. I did not take part in any of the spa offerings-too expensive. Do not forget anything in your room, it is a hike. You have to make reservations for the 2 of 3 restaurants, & don't be 1 minute early, doors stay locked and you will stand outside and sweat. Bar drinks are weak especially the blended. I wanted this vacation to Jamaica to be romantic, peaceful and quiet and that is exactly what I got. So for the $$ we paid it was worth it. This vacation will be worth it for you if the food and room don't mean too much to you relaxation, peace & romance await.

Awesome romantic getaway!Posted Aug 15, 2013
Pros: Rooms & dinners made you feel like you were extremely secluded while all the other couples were great to talk to at beach & bars. First scuba=amazing!
Cons: With all the free excursions and water sports, I can't imagine what they could add.
Location: Dunn's River Falls was a wonderful included excursion. Other than that there was no reason to leave the resort!
Celebrated our 20th anniversary with others and newlyweds. Wonderful resort for all ages. First experience with au naturalle and my husband and I plan to return many times. What we booked as a "once-in-a-lifetime trip is now planning to be a biannual getaway!

Wonderful Vacation!!!Posted Jul 29, 2013
Location: Dunns River Falls was a lot of fun.
We were there July 13-20. The staff were extremely nice. The resort is absolutely beautiful. Some people complained in other reviews about the furniture being dated. It is a little bit, but who cares? The only furniture we used was the float from our beach chairs, the beach chairs, the chairs at restaurants and bars and the bed. They are all plenty comfortable! The food is incredible. We usually go to Mexico, but will definitely start making Jamaica our "go to" vacation spot. I like that there are stairs everywhere. I don't like to exercise while on vacation, but I don't want to fluff up either. The stairs gave us just enough exercise for all the eating we did. The beef pattie with coco bread is AMAZING!!! We are a "COUPLES" fan now. We are already planning another trip for January or February.

Dream Honeymoon!Posted Jul 16, 2013
Pros: The people, the lush landscape, the food & drinks and the pools.
Cons: The shower pressure in our room was a little weak for my taste but definately not poor.
Location: The location was gorgeous. It's a 2 hour drive from the Montego Bay airport but well worth the time. There is lush vegetation & hammocks everywhere.
This resort was amazing!! My husband and I went to Jamaica on our honeymoon and we wanted to go somewhere that was a good mix of relaxing and entertaining and this resort was it. The staff are friendly and make a wonderful effort to learn everyones name. The restaurants and snack bars and all filled with delicious food and drinks and the pools are perfect. This resort, even when fully booked, never feels crowded or overwhelming. I completely reccommend this resort to couples, young and mature, looking for a getaway. We can't wait to go back ... 5 stars for sure!
