Can't wait to go back!Posted Dec 1, 2013
Pros: The employees
Location: We did have the resort staff call a taxi for us so that we could shop at a nearby marketplace. Other than that, you don't really need to leave.
Wrote a review on this resort on TripAdvisor.com. Can't say enough good about this resort and it's employees. We had a great time!

Wonderfully relaxing and restfulPosted Nov 10, 2013
Pros: The accommodations we very clean and well maintained. All the staff were friendly and smiling. They seemed very genuine as well
Cons: When it was raining we didn't know that umbrellas were available from the front desk. Some of the prices for the additional attractions were high
Location: Beautiful scenery, horse back riding, dunn river falls, dolphin cove, golf and more!
We had such a great time! All of the staff were so helpful and attentive. This was our first vacation ever...we would love to come back again. It was very clean and immaculately maintained. The food was phenomenal. I can't say enough great things..

The best! Nothing else compares!Posted Jul 21, 2013
Pros: Absolutely everything
Cons: Nothing everything was great.
Location: I dont know.
The was the best resort, I have ever been too!!! No words can describe how beautiful everything was. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean, and the food was great! I will most definitely visit here again and didnt want to leave. We stayed on the side where the beach was and was thrilled with our room. It was almost like having our own apartment with the view of the beach. Truly enjoyed Big time Rush and Andre's entertainment at the pool bar!!

It could not have been better.Posted Jul 14, 2013
It was absolutely perfect. Both the resort facilities and the beach amenities were nonpareil, however as delightful as those things were , the staff was in a class by itself with the remarkable ability to make each guest feel as though he or she was a welcomed old friend.

The place to be!!Posted Jun 27, 2013
Location: You don't have to even leave the premises
All I can say is that you haven't been on vacation until you've stayed here! Trust me on this one. Everything from the pools to the incredible restaurants to the unbelievable drinks, not to mention the most impressive staff of people I have ever experienced in my life! Always there to take care of you and then thank you for letting them....Just amazing!

Very underwhelmingPosted Apr 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Sandals promotes themselves heavily and likes to point out their 'legendary' service- we didnt experience this. Staff on the whole seemed disorganized, unmotivated and generally to have a bit of a chip on their shoulder. Check in was one of the worst ive experienced. We were shipped back and forth between both sides of the hotel twice before they realized where we were supposed to be, told us to sit for check in and then forgot us and then 'upgraded' us to a butler room we didnt want and that forced us a far way from the beach. The grounds are clean but starting to feel dated (90's). The beaches are small, but clean and there are a good number of activities. The food is unspectacular. Generally it lacks seasoning and flavour to make it something special. The buffets were generally horrible, lacked variety. The a la carte meals are not prepared by special chefs but rather folks with less experience. We found more local inspired foods to be the best of the worst and thought the Manor restaurant did that best with goat curry and oxtail. Other foods like italian and even salads were poor, flavourless and prepared without proper attention to detail that could make things so much better. Simple changes could make a world of difference. We stayed at Riu Negril after for a few days and while not a spectacular resort, it was much improved for beach, food variety and staff.

Don't fall for the "upgrade."Posted Apr 15, 2013
Pros: Variety of activities. No long lines for meals. Beach was nice.
Location: Ocean was nice. Quite a jaunt from the airport in Montego Bay--our driver texted the entire 2 hour trip to Ocho Rios.
Bathroom lights not bright enough. Coffee cups should be cycled through a dishwasher, not rinsed out at the bathroom sink. Staff cleaning room at 9:30 p.m. Requested toilet paper but finally had to procure our own from a staff cart sitting in the hallway. Food was just adequate, nothing exciting. Drinks were good. Some staff very friendly, others not so much. Room fridge was adequately stocked. We booked an oceanview room and on arrival were "upgraded" to the beach side of the resort "where everything is going on," according to the hotel staff. I'm not sure how going from an oceanview to a non-oceanview is an upgrade. We requested to change, but no one ever contacted us again. Nothing was horrible, I just expected more from a Sandals resort.
