Went in early June which is the off season so the hotel was not completely full but they still had a full staff that provided the best customer experience we have experienced. We would go back just to see the many friends we made in the short time we were there.
As for the actual hotel and amenities, it was just what we were looking for. Beautiful private beach with all the water boats and toys at your disposal. Always people to serve you drinks and food or take you out on the water. At night it was a quiet atmosphere with a little live music to enjoy dinner and drinks afterward.
Also, the city of Ocho Rios has several beautiful places to see and a little bit of a nightlife. Riley Tours was awesome and took us all around town. Overall, best resort we have stayed at in a perfect location.

We booked the Secret Rendezvous this time and was placed at CTI. We were very happy there. It is a smaller resort than CSA that were were at last year, which we really enjoyed.
The beach is smaller but never felt crowded at all. We did not go experience the Island but it looked like a good number of people did each day.
The Food was amazing, we ate at every place with no negative comments about any. Even the buffet was great for any meal with a good variety of food.
We did not leave the resort for any of the off site excursions but did everyone one that was offered at the resort, and had a great time on all of them.

We have visited Couples Negril in the past two years and wanted to try something new. Couples SS has breathtaking views, requiring climbing many steps. Hidden grottos and beautiful scenery. We are in shape and so it was no problem. The ocean was murky and cool, with hard rocky bottom unlike Negril's white Sandy Beach. The food was outstanding as well the service, and we were on a first name basis with many of the staff. We went ziplining. Our room in Block A which was nearest Sunset Beach, the main purpose of our trip. Most nudists were 55-plus, and we would have enjoyed a younger crowd! The 4th of July Gala was nice- we "J' Mericans" enjoyed our stay.

Returned to celebrate our 10 year anniversary at CTI and it was even more amazing than the first time! All of the staff are extremely friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Byron is "The Man of Tower Isle". He is almost always there and has a smile and awesome personality- can't wait to see him on our next trip back. It's the perfect place with your spouse/significant other to enjoy intimately which is what we wanted for our special occasion. We had amazing massages and private dinner on the beach at sunset. We canNOT wait to go back! Thank you again to the amazing staff!!!

I would like to say that I had an awesome experience while staying at the Riu in Ocho Rios. The staff members from the guest check in and out, the wait staff as well as the servers were very polite and helpful. My room, a junior suite with an ocean view was very clean and I really enjoyed it. The shows, entertainment and food were tops! I will come back to the Riu and recommend it to friends and family, you certainly have a repeat customer in me. Only suggestions, put all the smokers on one floor, did not like the smoking, but that was only minor.

We will be back.
I visited Chrissans in March of 2007 and it was far better then what I had expected for a budget hotel! I was concerned being a female traveling alone on my my first visit to Jamaice, but I felt completely at ease at Chrissans. What a pleasant vacation! It's 2 hrs from the airport, a small town about 15 minutes east of Ocho Rios. The was hardly anyone staying when I visited and I had the pool and private beach to myself most of the time there. I was upgraded to a deluxe suite, much to my surprise upon checking in - without even asking for one! The AC worked well, and the suite was clean, colorful, and updated. (I was in Apt #10, with a sleeping loft) But nothing is perfect, and there were a couple of cons. The bed linens as well as the towels left something to be desired. The security is supposed to be 24 hrs, though at one point I came back to the hotel at 11:00 pm and the gates were wide open with no security guard in sight. (Though he wasn't too far, I was able to find him in about 10 minutes). Also, make sure you set up your return ride to the airport when you get there...and confirm the time frequently. I was supposed to be picked up at 1:00, but found out at 11:30 that this was not the case, and I needed to be ready by 12:00. But other than those couple of minor inconveniences, which are bound to happen wherever you go, I really had a fabulous time. I would definitely return to Chrissans and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!
