I stayed at this hotel 2 times in Sep 2011. The first stay was in the original building and the room was old, with heavy furnishings, old carpet, dark lights, and a small bathroom. The subsequent stay was in the new building and it made a huge difference. The room was very contemprary, good lighting, tiled bathroom and separate shower area, modern furniture, etc. This is the section that needs to be requested. Breakfast buffett is good but not extensive. The hotel has a very nice restaurant for for dinners. Although the service can be slow, the food is very good. The lobby area needs freshening up, especially the carpets that cause slight smell that is noticed as soon as you enter the hotel. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Everyone spoke good English. Odder is a small town with few restaurants and an easy, 25 min drive to Aarhus. You can also use the train to get to Aarhus. This hotel is a good alternative to hotels in Aarhus with free parking.
