“Odessa Gem”

This was my first trip to Odessa and my stay at the Koklen hotel was a high point of my visit. The hotel staff was very provessional and helpful. The hotel is both elegant and modern with wireless internet working flawlessly in my room. And the restaurant was very good. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great wait staff spoke English. Good restaurant food. Everything new and perfect condition. Internet worked great.

“Quiet, Secluded and in the center of everything.”

The hotel is nicely located for walks to the hills overlooking the harbor or all the central shopping and fountain garden. The shops, a variety of restaurants, the Opera House and interesting architecture surround the small street that the hotel is on. It is a nice small hide-away, with a great restaurant and warm staff. Having checked out The London and the Mozart, this wins.The Country Ukrainian restaurant a few blocks away is unbelievable ... but not safe for heart patients. The restaurants and coffee shops surrounding the garden are unbelievably good - including the German which makes their own beer.
