“Clean and neat”

Great experience. Clean quiet rooms, yet close to the freeway. Food and fuel close by.

“Typical Super 8”

It was a typical Super 8-- decent with reasonable prices but not great. There was only 1 chair for a room that's supposed to accommodate 4 people, but at least they had 4 sets of towels which is uncommon for Super 8s. There was a Cheerio on the floor of our room (we didn't have Cheerios), but everything else seemed clean so I think it just got missed by the vacuum.

“Nice place for a cheap motel”

Quiet, clean, and nice. Not the ritz, but what do you want for a 2 star hotel? Definitely beats others in its class. I was particularly relieved that it was clean. I've had some nasty experiences with other motels in this class and I was hoping for the best. Thankfully it was fine.

“Lake McConaughy Visit”

Checking in and checking out was quick and simple. Although the motel was full or pretty full, the motel was quiet. The breakfast lady was very nice to all customers that visited the breakfast area.

“Super 8s are loud!”

I want to like the Super 8s. I really do. They offer convenient location, affordable price, clean rooms, polite service, and not a bad free breakfast. All the Super 8s I've ever stayed at, however, share one major flaw: poorly constructed buildings! You can hear everyone else who is staying in the motel. For this reason, I can't say I've ever had a good night's sleep in a Super 8, even with ear plugs. The night I spent in Ogallala we got a first floor room. After my family got into bed, the family upstairs came in. With every footstep they took, our ceiling crackled loudly and our walls shook. We could hear their conversation, and the conversation of everyone else in the hallway and the parking lot. They weren't being loud or having a party, just going about their normal business, but it sounded like they were in the room with us. If you're going to stay here or at any Super 8, don't expect to get a lot of sleep.

“first room unaccectable”

the first romm that we where asigned to had a weird smell to it went back to the desk and received a different room it had a musty smell to it we open the window to air it out then it was ok

“Worms.”

There were wire worms in our room (primarily in the bathroom) and when I notified the front desk I got the reply that they could come and kill them for us. Then the next morning when we discovered them in our luggage I was told by the maintenance man that they wouldn't hurt me. I am fully aware that a wire worm will not harm me and I'm also quite capable of killing one myself. What I expected was good service and assistance in changing my room, not just flippant responses.
