Historic hotel needs serious updates...too shabbyPosted Nov 15, 2013
Parts of my experience were great, such as the pub and the architecture of the hotel, some not so good: one receptionist was not very hospitable, parking lot was dirty and it was confusing where the handicap access was (elevator out of order?), there wasn't a ramp for luggage from the parking lot to the lobby, and the bathrooms needed some updating on decor (it was difficult to get cold water out of the faucet). If the hotel had a couple of investors, then some major renovations could happen that could really get the hotel up to date. Need updated laundry facilities too. I liked the room my niece and I had with two bedrooms; very convenient and nice.

Liked the room overall. Was quiet and comfortablePosted Nov 13, 2013
Pros: Old charm
Cons: Some cosmetic changes. Toilet was too close to counter (plus size person would have problems). TV's could be updated. Some breakfast not warm enough.
Location: Union Station two blocks away. Fun museums at a reasonable price.

Clean large rooms!Posted Nov 5, 2013
Pros: I loved the historic feel and the view of 25th street from our room was fantastic!!
I was surprised how clean our room was. I was expecting a standard room but there was a separate living and sleeping room. Decor and furniture was old, but clean and gave it some charm. I will definitely stay again!

Ogden MeetingPosted Sep 14, 2013
Pros: The comfort of my room and the friendliness of the staff.
Location: I was in Ogden for a meeting, and wasn't able to find time to do much else.
I found the Ben Lomond Suites to be an amazing older hotel with so much personality! I loved the ambience of the building and the architecture even caught my eye. I was extremely comfortable, the room was so clean and inviting, and the staff was so helpful and friendly. I would love to stay again!

Wonderful stay in Ogden, UtahPosted Sep 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was very pleased with our stay. Lamond and Laun were very helpful, professional and pleasant. I thank Laun for the upgrade. The only thing missing is an indoor pool. I would definitely recommend this establishment to family and friends. Thank you for such a wonderful stay in Ogden.

Review of Ben Lomond Suites in Ogden, UT.Posted Sep 2, 2013
Pros: We were impressed with the facilities and the staff, especially Lan the receptionist. The close proximity to the Irish Pub (MacCool's) is convenient.
Cons: Breakfast could be extended at least until 10 or 10:30 am.
Location: The down town Ogden location is very convenient.
We found the facilities clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful.

Excellent!Posted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was fantastic and for such a reasonable price. Would recommend to everyone! We locked ourselves out of our room - in our pajamas - and the quality of service was excellent.

We enjoyed the old, but elegant trappings of the Ben Lomond Suites. It was roomy, clean and the views were spectacular.
