Run down

The non smoking room had been smoked in, the bed was hard, and the neighborhood had cops and drunk people all night. It's also next to the train.

A very nice stay, close to the freeway, but quiet. Did not use the pool or fitness room. Bed was comfortable, staff friendly and helpful.

Last minute convenience

Posted Jun 26, 2014
We needed a last minute hotel on a road trip and got lucky finding this one. We got into town late (around midnight) but had no issues checking in. The front desk staff even set me up for a rewards account in about 30 seconds so I got credit for that night. They recommended and gave directions to a couple places that were still open for food and couldn't have been more helpful. The room was clean and more than enough. The only bummers were in the morning I got in the shower before realizing there were two conditioners and no shampoo in the bathroom. Also the breakfast was just so-so but still did the trick. If you're passing through or need a place to stay while enjoying winter activities this is your place.

Nice hotel but not best location.

Posted Mar 18, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness and customer service was excellent~
Cons: Couldn't be helped by the hotel staff but the construction on the roads nearby was hectic. Not hotels fault though.
Location: Nearest happening places was a few miles down the road. It is isolated from other places. Location was the only bad thing about hotel.
I loved the hotel and the condition. The rooms were well maintained and nice. I loved the cleanliness and the hotel staff was excellent. Their customer service was superior. There was construction and the location was segregated from other places and most of the happening places in Ogden.

Utah visit

Posted Feb 3, 2014
Pros: The pool and hot tub!
Cons: If there is any way you could change to pet friendly just in a few rooms that would make our stay more complete. We had to kennel our dogs in ND
Location: The location put us perfect for our families to get together and visit
We love the hotel. Very comfortable bed. Great staff. Only bad thing was our flight was canceled. Had to rent a car and drive from Boise Nothing to do with your hotel. The clerk was very nice and very polite

Pros: It was clean and comfortable.
Cons: Our room was by the elevator and too noisy.
Location: A short drive to downtown Ogden.
The room was comfortable and had a large bathroom.

Simple and nice

Posted Jan 22, 2014
Pros: Updated and very clean, close to Snowbasin (about a 15minute drive up the canyon)
Location: There is not much close by but within a 5 minute drive there are plenty of restaurants.
We were looking for a hotel close to Snowbasin. There is no lodging right at Snowbasin. This hotel is right off the main freeway that goes up to Snowbasin. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast was great. We ate every morning about 9:15 and women in the breakfast area was very attentive and helpful. Pool is nice. Facility feels new and is very clearn. Friendly staff.

Pros: Cleanliness, everything was updated, quiet.
Location: Dee Events Center, Weber State University, every fast food place you could want.
Front desk staff was knowledgeable and nice. Room was SUPER clean and VERY comfortable! I love that they had make up remover wipes in the bathroom. Everything was totally updated and clean, super quiet. We stayed there for a concert at Dee Events Center and would definitely recommend and stay again!

Nice & new, but with a few small glitches.

Posted Jul 30, 2013
Was pleasantly surprised upon check-in to see this is a fairly new property especially given the better than average rate for similar hotels in this area. The building is very nice both inside & out, but it seems they were in a rush to open before making sure everything was in working order. 1st room I was given the door didn't latch shut. The deadbolt worked, but the main lock didn't latch no matter what I tried. The front desk clerk seemed genuinely concerned & after assigning me a new room he left a note for maintenance to fix the latch. 2nd room was nice & everything worked properly, but the air conditioner unit had very stiff controls & I couldn't turn the fan control on the wall unit. The last issue I had was with the free continental breakfast. The fresh fruit selection consisted of 2 apples & 1old banana than had more brown spots than yellow skin. The scrambled eggs had been in the chafing dish long enough to have scorched the entire bottom of the pan. Both of these issues are easily corrected as long as someone is listening to the customers input. Like I said, a very nice, new property, but it just needs a walk-through with maintenance & management to address the little issues.
