Nice hotel. Great breakfeast.Posted Jul 28, 2014
Nice hotel. Great breakfeast. Room was nice but found some random stain on the bottom of the bed. Also the pool is small and didn't seem to clean. When we got in the hot tub and turned it on a weird smell started to be in the air.

For a motel in Nowhere, Illinois - it's got it allPosted Jul 16, 2014
Location: The area is pretty much small town USA so entertainment options are limited. Starved Rock State Parknd a few Illinois Valley wineries are very close.
This place is about everything you could expect in a motel - clean, spacious rooms, property is in good condition. Working pool and spa (Open until 11:00 at night, and I got the feeling this wasn't strictly enforced..), breakfast with a lot of variety and working Wi-Fi. 24 hour fitness facility and laundry as well. Can't ask for anything else. If in the area again. we would stay again!

convenient - poor areaPosted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: Not much
Cons: Staff changing, to be more customer friendly.
Location: Starved rock area nice, plus village of OTTAWA (8 miles)
Staff need lessons in customer service.. Not at all welcoming and were unhelpful.

Comfortable and cleanPosted Nov 2, 2013
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: It is pretty basic, but you don't expect anything else for this price.
Location: Great food at Garzanelli's
Just off a major interstate, this hotel is convenient for north/south travelers. We were in town visiting family and found the interaction with travelers to be a bonus.

experiencePosted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: $1.50 for safe was a surprise but taken off the bill when we asked for it
Cons: faster check in check out
It seems that the computer system was slow in printing reservation at check in and the bill at check out. The breakfast must have been good as it was packed and one could not get a seat. Consider a larger room. Pleasant staff at the desk

Average for where it is in the middle of nowherePosted Jun 15, 2013
Clean room. Free breakfast. Elevator smells horrible. Bed uncomfortable. But again its a 2-3 star hotel in the country...I wasn't expecting the hyatt downtown Chicago.

Great room!Posted Dec 29, 2012
Pros: clean, nice breakfast area
Cons: Being charged for a safe in the room that we didn't ask for. Was removed when questioned about it.
Excellent room! Lots of space. Asked front desk staff about restaurants and was directed to a friendly bar & grill in town. Appreciated the help!
