Check in was so easy, staff was very friendly. Room was clean, shower was clean, and hot!! The Kittery shops were in walking distance…didn’t have to deal with the traffic. York, Me. Just down the road…great shops on RT. 1.

It was convenient to get to and very good value for the price. The staff were great and called me on New Year's Eve to find out when I was arriving so I could be sure of my room and how to get in.

The heat/air conditioning unit was so loud it was like a jet engine every time it came on which was every 10 minutes. It was impossible to sleep. The fan only worked on high speed even though it had two other speeds. I wanted to make the front desk aware but they were no where in sight when I came to check out. Also the pet area was very dark and not an area that I felt comfortable in. All in all I’d pass this motel by.

This property has gone dramatically downhill in the past year alone. Very cheap repairs inside, if any at all. Duct tape over an outlet. They are just doing the very basic upkeep at the cheapest expense to them. Also found a double charge on my debit card today. We will never go there again.

As for the double charge on your credit card it was probably just an authorization which we do every morning and it will go away. Please check with your cc company to make sure it is gone. It may take a few days. Please call us if there is still an issue.
I was going out with friends and know it would be a long drive, so this hotel is next to my job, I could sleep in and not disturb family at home. Very nice hotel!!! Very clean, looks like they’ve done some updates also.

The staff was very pleasant and accommodating and the room was spotless. The motel is close to Rte 1 and so there is road noise but overall it's an excellent value.

Coachman Inn was clean and comfortable. Provided a nice breakfast, the area was clean and easily accessible. Rooms had coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. Shower was excellent with great water pressure. You can't ask for more.

My daughter and I spent the night. Overall a very nice hotel and I may book there again.
My only issues were the paper thin walls – we could hear the whole conversation of the gals next door if we wanted to.
And, there was not recycling waste basket in our room. In this day and age, every hotel should have recycling baskets in the rooms and be actively recycling.

Although the room could use new pillows this was one of the best handicapped bathrooms we have encountered. The staff was great, loved access from the interior hallway as well as the exterior door. We would definitely stay here again.

Was charged $25 a night dog fee because they didn’t have any dog rooms left even though the room smelled like a dog, carpet extremely dirty and scratches on bathroom door like a dog was trying to get out.

Thanks for your review, and for staying with us, you were charged a pet fee for your dog as your online reservation booked was for a standard room and not a pet rate room, when guests booked like this we charge a pet fee and assign them to specific rooms that we use for non pet rate , which you were assigned to one of those rooms hence why the room would have had a dog smell to it, sorry if our pet policy wasn't understandable to you prior to booking. Any questions with your reservations you can always call our front desk for assistance.
Nice place to post up for a night. Close drive to Portsmouth and lots of restaurants to choose from. Nice breakfast.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Upon our investigation there were no bed bugs found in the room. Sometimes it happens because bedbugs can be brought from visitors from different places also. It is hard for businesses to find them unless they are visible.
