“Lovely, beautifully decorated, cozy bed and breakfast, with extremely nice owners”
We had a very pleasant stay at this lovely bed nad breakfast. It is a beautiful 1814 colonial house, beautifully decorated to respect its original beauty. Our room was very comfortable and agreable to stay in. The owners made us feel very welcome and presented us every morning with a delicious home cooked breakfast in the lovely breakfast room. They were so nice, interesting and fun, we will make sure to go back next time we go back to Maine. The location of the B&B was perfect, in Ogunquit very close to the restaurants and shops but far enough that we do not get the noise fron the shopping area, with easy access to Kennebunkport and lovely nature walks. We'll be back!
“A great Bed & Breakfast”
Normally when my wife and I go to Maine we stay in a hotel on the beach. We chose a bed & breakfast for the first time and we were totally delighted. The owners Mike and Bill provide great hospitality for their guests. The ambiance where the breakfasts were held was terrific and Chef Bill provided scrumptious food. The rooms were very nice and clean. Would definitely go back again.
“A brief but wonderful stay”
Owners Michael and Bill made us feel very welcome and at home from the moment of our arrival. We loved the colonial atmosphere and the period furnishings were great. Our bed was extremely comfortable with two pillow options provided and everything seemed immaculately clean. Breakfast on the sun porch of blueberry pancakes, sausages, and fresh fruit was beautifully presented, and we thoroughly enjoyed listening to the water fountain while we ate and watching the birds come to the feeders right outside where they were placed amidst a lovely flower garden. Access to Ogunquit, restaurants, shopping and the beach were excellent and Michael and Bill were generous in their recommendations. In short, our stay offered all you would hope for in a B&B - we only wish it could have been longer!
“A Special B&B Experience”
A small jewel amidst a sea of beach motels. Michael and Bill keep a lovely B&B in a true colonial house where Eleanor Roosevelt once stayed. Her room has been tenderly "remembered". Ask them to show it to you, or better yet, book it! Home-baked cookies in the afternoon, a fabulous breakfast in the morning, and all the comforts of the digital age are the thoughtful touches that set this venue apart from all the rest. Highly recommended!
“The best B&B ever!”
My husband and I loved this place! Michael and Bill are awesome! We loved Snickers too ... so cute! We had a great couple of days away and will definitely stay here again!
