Highly recommend!Posted Nov 24, 2014
This hotel is so beautiful, there is a view from everywhere you look. It was the last weekend of the season and they upgraded us upon arrival to a suite at no extra cost! We had a private terrace with a jacuzzi over looking the sea, it was really spectacular. It's a great location, a little hard to find when you first arrive as it is set back off the street, but your taxi driver should know it. The decor was beautiful, the hotel food was great and the breakfast, which was included, had everything and the staff was lovely. We plan to go back and ask for room 22 again!!!

Very relaxing and enjoyable experiencePosted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Everything was good , incredible plunge pool which we used at least 3 times every day.
Cons: The plumbing was noisy and the bathroom fans could be heard by everyone which was the only annoying thing.
Location: We were actually there to have a rest so we didn't venture far from the hotel.
My husband and I had the most relaxing holiday, our room was beautiful with everything we needed and lovely ocean views to cap it all off. The staff were incredible especially Marios and his sister in the restuarant. We have no complains at all it lived up to all expectations. Thank you.

Beautiful hotel on the cliff topPosted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: Beautifully quiet , secluded and private. Good service, good food and a fantastic place to spend your holiday.
Cons: Absolutely lovely although the bed was very hard. Could do with mattress topper.
Location: Oia is a very beautiful place and feels very special. Although at the end of the island it didn't take us any time to get to all the attractions.
Stayed here for 3 days with our daughter in law. It was our first time in Santorini and it was wonderful.

Excellent honeymoon locationPosted Oct 1, 2014
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The facilities were good, the Canaves Oia Suites has a bigger pool area and is a bit more lively, Canaves Oia Hotel was very quiet, both were lovely. The location is great for restaurants, shops and bars. I would recommend going at the end of the season as Oia can be very busy especially as the cruise ships arrive and at sunset. It's easy to get around to the rest of the island, Akrotiri and the wineries are definitely worth a visit! We had a fantastic honeymoon and would recommend the hotel!

Honeymoon Suite = swim out cave pool!Posted Jul 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
We couldn't possibly say nicer things about the Canaves Suites Hotel! I would highly recommend Oia if you want a romantic/lounging vacation and the Canaves Suites is one of the nicest in the area that we saw (and we looked at the majority of them while there!). The staff is absolutely wonderful and resourceful: they landed us three highly sought after reservations for dinner/yacht trip that we couldn't get ourselves (highly recommend dinner at: Ambrosia, Andronis Hotel Restaurant, and the semi-private yachting experience). The honeymoon suites were immaculate and beautifully designed (all white with hints of light green), balcony, swim out cave pool, beach lounge area, amazing views. Well worth the cost for a few days in paradise! You will not regret this spend! Also they serve Santorini wines as a welcome drink at the pool - which were fun to try in your first minutes on the island. We loved it so much we rerouted our trip to stay a 3rd night. We did have to move rooms and had an older Jr Suite that wasn't fully renovated, but it was still the same great pool/service etc., and the room was huge, just a bit outdated. I would highly recommend the honeymoon suites though! Check out this hotel - you won't regret staying in Oia or Canaves Suites.
