Good location

Posted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: Location, kurieg coffee in the room,
Cons: More toasters, or strong ones as the items were still a little frozen which is good but it now will take longer to toast.
Location: The beach, Tim Hortons, Golf course ,loco landing adventure park, Floating the Canal, skate park, bike rentals, casino, boat rentals.
A short walk to the beach, had a Tim Hortons around the corner, Golf course a short walk, had a play zone down the street that had something for everyone. Could take a short drive to the end of the beach to the Casino. Spent a day going down the canal which is just a short walk from the hotel. Enjoyed the Contentinal breakfast Stopped in at the Pasta Factory had good service with good food and the price was the best part.

The room was large and quiet, just old and depressing looking, The property really needs an update.

Clean and Comfortable

Posted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: see above
Cons: One minor item---use better quality toilet paper--not the most economical available
Location: good location for freeway access, restaurants and walking distance to the beach and river for tubing
Everything went well from check-in to check-out. Beds were great, AC worked, bathroom fan also and a surprise was the small fridge. Wifi worked. Staff helped with trying to find a restaurant with live entertainment ( tough on a Wed. night). We were on the ground floor but didn't hear anything from the room above.

The staff was great, the rooms were decent, and the location is very good. Great value in an otherwise expensive place to stay.

Walking distance to canal

Posted Jul 19, 2015
Pros: Felt secure and close to beach and walking trails.
No Pride is taken in rooms by cleaning staff. Clean but nothing special. Rooms put together quickly. No microwave and sinks are on the outside of bathroom, bring disinfection wipes. Front desk staff where great. Very close to canal to go floating. Coffee at continental was undrinkable. Eat breakfast and go find a coffee somewhere else or bring kurig coffee pods for maker in rooms, you only get 2 and no decafe.

Well located family friendly hotel

Posted Jul 18, 2015
Cons: Breakfast selection could be worked upon - we stayed a few days and had the same offering everyday.
Location: Beaches, highway and restaurants and close by.
We checked in for a short vacation and were welcomed by cheerful staff members. The first room offered to us was too small (without a microwave) - the reception staff was very helpful and upgraded us to a pleasant and spacious room. The property is located close to the beach and other amenities. Well kept place with clean washrooms, swimming pools and beds. If one is on a vacation with kids, and looking for a budget hotel with well kept rooms - this is the place!

Pros: Location, dog friendly, clean.
Location was quiet and convenient for pleasant people and dog walks along the river and to Okanagan Lake. Nice Italian restaurant nearby and other options as well. Simple breakfast buffet was appreciated.

Fun night in Penticton at Days Inn

Posted Jul 16, 2015
Pros: The friendly staff, the pools inside and out. The cleanliness and adjoining restaurant.
Cons: The free breakfast is really basic. I would add some fruit and yogurt. There was fruit cocktail, but with grapefruit that I can't eat in it.
Location: Loco Landing Adventure Park is a great place! And the beach is close and amazing! Tubing down the canal is right across the street from the hotel.
We enjoyed our stay at Days Inn. The staff was very accomodating to my needs being in a wheelchair. The four of us enjoyed the both pools and hot tub. The room was very large. We enjoyed the adjoining restaurant for dinner. It was an easy walk to Loco Landing Adventure Park, that we spent two days at with the Grandchildren. The beach is a very easy walk to Lakeshore Drive, where the walkway is so awesome and the restaurants line the street were great. We will definately stay again, because of the staff, cleanliness and convenience to all that we wanted to do.
