A room with a viewPosted Nov 12, 2013
Pros: The gift shop. The spacious room. The breakfast. The view. The kind staff at reception. Great hotel all round.
Cons: On the 8th floor, there is a beer vending machine. It would have been nice to have, say, some pineapple juice etc. as well.
Location: Shuri Castle is a steep climb, but a short bus-ride. The walk is downhill all the way home. There's a convenience store and supermarket nearby, too.
Half way up the hill to Shuri Castle, the hotel (and my room too!) had some lovely views of Naha City and beyond. The walk to the monorail station, and the main shopping street (Kokusai Dori) is not far. The bus was easy to take too. It stops right in front of the hotel. I had a lovely time, and the gift shop on the first floor had lots of trinkets, t-shirts, bags and things, so I did half my gift shopping on site!

Highly Recommended for PricePosted May 17, 2013
Saved almost $1000 booking at this hotel. Very clean, good upkeep, nice store on first floor and 2 good restaurants. The buffet is excellent on the second floor. Bathrooms in the rooms may be considered tiny by the western eye. Otherwise the rooms were excellent and clean. And free green tea! Staff very friendly and English speaking, willing to assist you in any way possible. Tours and rental cars can be booked also. About a 15min walk to the Shurijo Castle, very nice. 15min walk to Kokusai-Dori. Any other destinations can be taken with Naha bus & monorail system. There is a bus stop by the hotel and you can pretty much go anywhere in the city for 600yen and less (220yen min). Bring good walking shoes. Only negative: the beds are hard.

Lovely hotel!Posted May 7, 2013
Cons: Some of the rooms were a little old.
Location: Convenient hotel if you drive.
I loved the 13th floor of the hotel (possibly the club floor) where the rooms are new and large. I suggest upgrading the rooms on the other floors and equip them with wireless internet. It will further improve the stay at the hotel!

Very nice. Helpful staff.Posted Apr 15, 2013
Pros: Helpful staff
Cons: Not really close to alot of things
Location: See above
The staff was very helpful even though we couldn't speak Japanese well. They were very patient and polite. The breakfast buffet was very good. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hallways were a litte dim and could use a little more light. The outside of the hotel needed a little fresh paint. Not alot of restaurants close by. A bit of a walk to the Shurijo Castle (about a 25 minute walk uphill). Never tried to walk to the shopping street.

Excellent staff & service. Took some time to figure out the A/C unit control since it was in Japanese only. Location okay with convenient bus stops and frequent buses. Within walking distance of Kokusai-dori. Overall, can't find a better hotel for the price.

Comfortable and friendly.Posted Aug 6, 2012
Pros: My favorite things about the hotel were the buffet and the comfortable hotel room. It was just what you needed to set you up and finish for the day.
Cons: The restaurants on some fo the other floors seemed a bit pricey, but I didn't use them.
Location: It's about 15 mins walk from Kokusai Street. and 10 minutes walk from Shujiro castle. The 25 bus goes from the hotel to Kokusai and then the airport.
The hotel is very efficient and friendly. All the staff were more than willing to help us with anything. The room was always spotless when we came back to it, and it had everything we needed. There is a shop on site that can be useful, and I can recommend the morning buffet, which was gigantic, and well stocked. The bed was also huge and extremely comfortable! The hotel was just what we needed for our holiday.
