Beautiful views, and nice rooms.Posted Jul 1, 2014
Location: Near Shuri Castle
Everything was great for our stay especially at the price. My only complaint was no wifi in the room. This is an older hotel, but they have done a great job keeping everything nice.

Very convenientPosted Apr 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel was clean and provided everything we needed. Bus stop outside hotel was very convenient. Was able to take the bus to everywhere we wanted to go. Also, the daily breakfast was excellent. Have stayed there several times now. I think it has actually gotten better each time. Not a swanky hotel, but great service at a great price.

restful after days of sight seeingPosted Apr 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
Miyako was a super choice for our family of four. It was a trip of a lifetime for us to return to Okinawa. Changes everywhere. Hotel availability was tight that particular time period. We had to trust Hotels.com. to find us space. We chose two premium twin rooms to accomodate 4 adults. The rooms were very well appointed with great views and very comfortable beds. We included the breakfast buffet which was consistently delicious with Western items as well. We wished for more English at the front desk but enjoyed meeting two young ladies serving at breakfast who had superior English skills so we got all our questions answered. Wifi is available only in the lobby, sometimes an inconvenience. Because we had a car and intended to take day trips the location was fine. A bus right outside could be taken to the airport or downtown Naha. Each staff person was very solicitous and cordial. We would recommend the Miyako to anyone visiting Okinawa.

Nice hotel close to Shuri castle.Posted Feb 25, 2014
Great hotel, within walking distance of Shuri castle. Restaurants are a little pricy, however there are some great little restaurants also within walking distance. The train is also close by... Hop on and visit Kokesai street.

Great Comfortable Hotel!Posted Jan 29, 2014
My first experience in in Okinawa and overall pleased with the hotel. Be aware they speak limited english and all signs are in Japanese. The hotel is in the Shuri district near Shurijo Castle. Its about 1km from Asato monorail station and 1.4 from the main street in Naha. If you don't mind walking and exploring its in a pretty good location. A great supermarket nearby. I will stay at the the hotel again for sure

Great hidden gemPosted Jan 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
Front Desk was very kind & upgraded me. The 10/F room is the most spacious of all the hotels I stayed in Naha, with an interesting view. Even the lady at the gift shop spoke superb English & offers a range of souvenirs, gift items, foods & drinks, even sell boxes if need to ship some gifts. I got some purple yam tarts on sale. I enjoyed a seasonal set dinner at the Japanese restaurant, food quality & presentation was superb, service was fantastic. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of foods.

Great stayPosted Jan 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
A very nice hotel with friendly, efficient staff. The breakfast buffet was good quality and more than adequate in very nice surroundings. The hotel is up a hill a short taxi ride from the nearest monorail station - Omoromachi - but Okinawa taxis are so cheap. It was only ¥620 one way. Right outside the hotel, there is a bus stop for the tourist bus that takes you to Kokusai Dori for ¥220 - a bargain.
