“Construction nightmare”

The hotel itself might be fine if not for major construction which is continually going and noisy. Even at 7 AM on the weekend. Hotel staff not helpful with situation.

“Updated Historic Hotel”

Very nice hotel for price. Rooms appeared recently updated. Service excellent. Close to Bricktown area. Would definitely stay here again.

“Won't stay anywhere but the Colcord”

Beautiful historic hotel with wonderful room amenities and friendly staff. The location is great and is next door to the Myriad Botanical Garden and only blocks away from Bricktown. The free shuttle to downtown location is great.

Area recommendations

I would recommend visiting Bricktown and Automobile Alley. Wonderful restaurants and shops.

“Amazing Historic Hotel”

This hotel is a fabulous old hotel. When all of the construction is complete, it will be even more amazing. Right now the streets are torn up as well as the lobby. They are renovating the restaurant and including an indoor/outdoor bar. The rooms are beautiful, large and so compfortable. You can't hear the construction either. I will definitely stay there again.

“Hotel of the Earthquake.”

The room was very nice. The restaurant is under construction. Within walking distance of Bricktown and the Myriad Gardens. We were on the 8th floor when the 5.6 magnitude earthquake hit. The building swayed but no damage. The complimentary breakfast was very good.

“Great hotel”

We had a large comfortable room that had recently bben remodeled. The bathroom had a great walk-in shower. The complimentary breakfast was very good, also.

“Nice despite construction issues”

The Colcord is a lovely smaller historic hotel. Prime location and quality helpful staff. The downside is the construction of a tower and mega building just outside our window. The upside: a discount on the rooms and the fun of watching the builders. They didn't start working until 7 am or so in the morning,so wasn't a problem. Driving in through the construction was messy, but the valet service provided by the hotel works well.

“Great Hotel in Oklahoma City where there arent many options”

In a world that there is a Hampton Inn or Towne Place Suites on every corner this is a welcome change, nice spacious rooms, good coffee and coffee makers, great atmosphere, friendly service. The only bad thing is that the whole downtown area in OKC is under construction which makes this hotel somewhat difficult to get ot but that is not thier fault.

“Beautiful old hotel”

The Hotel was old and beautiful..but construction of a new building was being done right next to it. Had I known that I would not have chosen that hotel. But that would be the only reason...You could not drive down half the streets because of it and getting to and from the hotel was a major problem. Other than that, which was not their fault, we loved the hotel.
