“Very nice hotel!”

“Great with one BUT”

We loved this hotel with one exception. The breakfast was great, the evening happy hour was generous the rooms were spacious and perfect for us. One big draw tot he hotel had been the indoor pool. The pool temperature was too cold to enjoy. We did request that it be warmer, but the maintenance worker said it was the temperature the health department required. We did not believe that because we had stayed in the same city at another hotel whose pool was quite a bit warmer and thus much more enjoyable. Whenever we went to the pool not one other person was in it--so I am guessing other guests thought it was too cold also.

“always reliable”

i like the embassy suites hotel because they are usually a great value when you consider each room is a suite (at single hotel room prices). the free breakfasts and happy hours are a definite plus, especially for a family with kids who NEVER consume the amount of food equivalent to hotel menu prices. the embassy suites in norman is conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, and freeway access, but out of the way of busy areas. the service was great and the common area on the ground level is kid-friendly, offering a wii and a dedicated play area.

Getting around

you will likely need a car since this hotel is sorta out of the way of any neighborhoods. there is convenient shopping across the street, but there's not much else around (like movies or other entertainment options).

there are plenty of convenient shopping and restaurant options, literally across the street (including target, quiznos, as well as sit-down restaurants).

“This is the only hotel I would stay at in Norman!”

Loved everything about this hotel. The breakfast selections were endless with plenty of healthy options. The evening Manager's Reception was a nice way to unwind from a busy day. The hotel room was roomy enough for our two kids to spread out and not get on each other's nerves. The room, workout facility, pool area, lobby restroom, bar, etc. were all very clean and spotless. I would never think of booking a different hotel if returning to Norman.

“Beautiful Hotel”

The hotel itself seems fairly new. The view out the hotel room wasn't great, but there wasn't much to see anyway.

“Expensive Email”

This was a very nice hotel, great workout room, excellent suite, complimentary breakfast so can you tell me why they charge 15.00 to check your email? And the "wireless" did not work at all. You are very close to being a first rate business hotel but you just don't cut it with wireless that doesn't work and internet access not included with the room. Believe me 15.00 to check my email was outrageous after paying full rate for the room. Get with the 21st century, upgrade your wireless and included internet access with the room.
