Gentlemen of the Road StopoverPosted Sep 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
I had never booked a hotel before I attended the Gentlemen of the Road Stopover music festival in Guthrie, OK. Due to the enormity of this festival, this was the only hotel that was close to the festival. I booked one room through Hotels.com. I was suspicious at first, but now I am glad I did. We arrived early and had suspected that we couldn't check in. Yet, we stopped just to see if we could. At the front desk was a very friendly and polite lady that said our room was available for check in. It was a relief because we did not want wait around to do so, because we had the festival to attend. She gave us restaurant advice and directions to the nearest city which is Edmond. The room was very clean and orderly. Decor was nice. The biggest plus was the air conditioner. Nearly got frost bite! Quiet at night and the breakfast was like any other hotel breakfast. Neighbor was not shady and the hotel is conveniently located on I-35. I would recommend this to any person passing through needing a good nights rest. Also, the only down side was the price for the room. Thankfully there was 3 of us so the money was divided up. Other than that! Exceptional hotel.

We were very please with the over all service and condition of this hotel. The only thing we were disappointed with were the beds. They were particularly hard for our taste, very uncomfortable.

Nice new hotel but needs pictures onlinePosted Aug 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was very nice, I wish there had been pictures online before booking, the "suite" the two bed suite was only one room, we expected two rooms since it was a suite. They staff was very nice and offered to let let us upgrade to a family suite at no cost in the middle of our stay, but we didn't not want to move rooms. The indoor pool was very nice, wish there was a hot tub. Overall very nice new hotel and nice staff.
