Very centrally located

Posted Apr 30, 2015
Pros: Easy to walk to all of our destinations.
Cons: Quality of work on the tub caulking was terrible and the sink drain pop-up handle is missing.
Location: There are many things to do nearby. Botanical Garden, Memorial, Bricktown, Banjo Museum, just to name a few
Great experience. The hotel is located within wakling distance of a multitude of attractions. It is also within walking distance of the Amtrak train station which is how we arrived. Excellent location.

Great Stay

Posted Mar 30, 2015
This is a great downtown location. Take skywalk to Convention Center and Arena is across street from there. Four blocks to Brick Town. Staff were helpful and friendly. Downside is lack of places to eat near hotel. Starbucks in hotel had limited food items. We booked room with breakfast and that was good value. Restaurant service was extremely slow in evening. Matthew at the check-in desk was friendly and extremely helpful on two occasions. He remembered our name second time he saw us! Parking is valet only and was most expensive we have ever paid. Housekeeping did a minimum and forget to leave washcloths one day. Also did not replenish lotion or shampoo. However, room was perfectly clean on arrival. Highly recommend.

Hotel close to the Cox Center and the Arena in OKC

Posted Mar 25, 2015
Pros: I addressed it in the above statement.
Cons: Making you aware of the refreshing and turn down service.
Location: convention center, the arena, brick town, the restraurants, movies, the water walk, carriage rides and close to interstate 40
I really enjoy my stay and the breakfast and service was outstanding. I only wish I knew at check in that you had to request your room to be refreshed. And there was no refrigerator in my room. The bed was very comfortable and there was little or no noise at night. Overall a very delightful experience , oh and its in walking distance of bricktown.

Review of our stay

Posted Mar 8, 2015
Pros: The convenience of the walkway to Cox Convention Center was especially appreciated, Wonderful service. A room with a view, and lovely decor.
Cons: I Don't know.
Location: Valet parking brought up the car; front desk gave perfect directions to the nearest mall (Penn Square) which we enjoyed for shopping and restaurants.
We were impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff. Front desk was Super! Valet parking and bellhops were especially accommodating and efficient. Great FREE breakfast! Fresh fruit and wonderful breakfast fare. Many thanks.

Worth the money!

Posted Feb 17, 2015
We are always so pleased when we stay here. Beds are amazing and its over all very nice. We did have problems with the valet every time we checked our car. At one point we waited 45 minutes which caused us to miss our dinner reservation. They just need to have more staff available on nights like Valentine's day. I would avoid the restaurant for breakfast. The food was old from early that morning and the bread was stale. On that note, room service was on point with everything we ordered. It came quickly and were very pleased.

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay at the Renaissance Oklahoma City Convention Center Hotel. Our guests’ comfort is always important to us and we loved reading your review and learning how much you liked the bed in your room. It was however disheartening to find out about the difficulties you encountered with the valet and wish that we were made aware of your concerns at the time of your stay so that it could be addressed right away. The next time you are visiting with us we hope that you will notify us immediately if anything about your stay is amiss. Thank you again for sharing your comments.

Pros: The ambiance, the amenities
Cons: The valey parking situation.
It was a nice place with nice amenities. Most of the staff were nice. The valey parking situation was kind of a cluster.

The food was great and everyone was very helpful. The price is a bit much but worth the downtown location.

Great location for going to a Thunder game

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Perfect for an overnight trip to go to the game. Since parking, wifi and breakfast all cost extra, I wouldn't use it for an extended trip.
