Adequate for 1 nitePosted Sep 2, 2012
Location: good location
Having to sign a release for potential bear damage, if we had left any food/candy in our car was a surprise. Motel could have been quieter. (e.g. shower noise in morning. Free breakfast was very disappointing The room availability as noted on internet (e.g. expedia, etc.) was very disappointing. It showed no availability on a second nite, but there were many rooms available.

Won't be going backPosted Aug 21, 2012
We were expecting somewhat better for the money. Furnishings very old, poorly lit, no soap or shampoo provided. I felt as though I was being arraigned for a crime when I was checking in...multiple papers (warnings basically) to sign off on. Won't be going back there.

convenient locationPosted Oct 11, 2011
We visited the Adirtondacks for a Fall foliage visit. The exterior of the hotel was clean and attractive. I believe management is in the process of upgrading the facility. Unfortunately, our room was next to the indoor pool and the stairs, which meant smelling chlorine and enduring the noise of people going up and down the stairs. No matter what time a shower was taken, the water was lukewarm at best (one never needed to use any cold water in the shower). I communicated this to the management, and never received a response. The continental breakfast was limited. Even the coffee was tasteless. If I return to the Adirondack region, I will be staying somewhere else.
