“Fantastic food / great bar / great location / Lovely staff”

Super location. Big carpark. £9.99 two course menu with wine was excellent value. Huge Asda just across the road. Excellent value!

Very good for the price, not good looking from outside, but very nice inside, breakfast very good and Indian meal we had was very very nice.

Friendly waitress, a few niggles (e.g. no batteries in the remote) but all dealt with by staff immediately.

Friendly staff, excellent food for a hotel (lunch and breakfast). Could do with a lick of paint and carpets cleaned. Rooms fair size and walk in shower, plenty of hot water. Was fairly quiet area at night and ideal location just off the motorway as I was attending a course at the hotel. Ample free parking.

Greeted by a friendly staff on arrival and departure, room clean and is a good size with big bed and nice decor. Stopped here twice before, would definetly go back if in the area.

The hotel and room was perfect. there was no serious problem. but the breakfast has to be more rich. around the hotel is so noisy. tv was not working properly. car park was perfect. It was very nice hotel and i enjoyed. thanks

We didn't expect a lot from this hotel but being a Ramada you expect some level of quality. The only quality in this hotel was the staff; friendly, helpful, and couldn't do enough for you. You could tell even the cleaners take pride in their work. However, the room we had was very poorly maintained. Red wine, (I hope), stains on the walls, fairly grotty shower grout and silcone, wallpaper coming off the walls, water stains on the ceilings from an obvious flood...basically everything that the cleaners couldn't do was pretty shabby. Saying that the room was clean and very comfortable. Very decent for the price but still expect more from Ramada.

“Hideous, horrendous and hot!”

This is not a four star hotel and would just abut make a three of likened to Travel inns and travel lodges. Whilst the staff were very politie and accomdating the hotel was not as described in the online description. The rooms are very small. If you are on the top floor it is very hot and the windows only open slightly. the hotel faces a dual carriage way on one side and a motor way on the other! The air conditioning was not working I would never stay here again. There was no vegetarian option at breakfast and the buffet was minimal with limited options... And the beans had been mixed with water.........Say no more!

“Poor service and poor quality”

Not a 4 star hotel, more like 2star. Although room was clean, it was tiny. The bathroom was incredibly small Poor quality pillows and duvet. The reception staff didn't know much, and were unable To answer any if our questions or help with any requests. A simple question like 'what time is breakfast served In the morning?', we couldn't get a proper answer Out of them. One staff member said 8-10am but not sure, the reception said 7:30am to 10am, and the 3rd said 7:30am to 11am! The restaurant was seriously understaffed and filthy. When booking the hotel was advertised on expedia as having free internet access throughout the hotel, however we were told at check in that there was no Internet access in any of the rooms. It was also a 15-20min drive to the ICC and a Taxi cost £12. Definitely would not recommend this hotel until they got their act together and improved a lot!
